I’ve been to this Starbucks a few times and it’s usually pretty nice.
They have an outdoor seating area and the inside also has plenty of seats.
The last time I was here, there was only one barista (didn’t catch her name), but she was very busy since there were a good amount of customers waiting for their drinks.
She managed to do everything by herself, but there was another girl in the back who should’ve come out to help her manage the lines.
I decided to order something cold, refreshing and caffeine-free…an iced venti berry hibiscus refresher with extra syrup. She told me that the drink was already sweetened so she recommended that I try it without the extra syrup first. I’ve had it in Hawaii and recalled that it wasn’t sweet enough, yet agreed to her recommendation.
I took a sip, it wasn’t as sweet as I’d like, but since there were other people waiting in line I didn’t bother to ask her to adjust it for me. Next time I’ll just remember to trust my own instinct.

Been to many Starbucks stores, and there is none slower then the Moraga store. I probably won’t be back after the last trip there. After waiting in line (four staff working, one at a register, one making drinks, not sure what the other two were doing, the barista in deep conversation with someone who seemed like an off duty employee who was hanging out) and ordering my drink, I watched two people who were behind me in line get there orders first. I asked about my drink and got it – opened the lid and it was clearly made wrong. When I said something, the barista knew a mistake had been made and remade the drink correctly. Off I went.
None of this is a big deal. Its a coffee drink. But its just a consistently bad consumer experience at this store.

Poor customer service, they didn’t say hi and they didn’t say thank you. They didn’t even speak… and the service was super slow. It was only one person behind me and I waited extremely long.

Saturday morning and the line was long but in line I discovered you can use the Starbucks app to order, pay ahead and pick up at the store. So that is what I will do the next time!

Not at all crowded (I came in on a Tuesday evening), a little messy for me but not at all dirty. Tons of traffic of people going on and out… but plenty of parking and outdoor seating space. No drive thru, but to me that doesn’t matter. I would def come back, I would have to see if they’re more crowded during the day, hopefully they’re not!

If this place were any slower with their service they would be going in reverse.

There are always lots of people hanging out, the staff is friendly, just don’t go when you are in a hurry, you will usually have to wait.

I love this Starbucks but I’m not sure if it is because of the season but I wish they would put out some bee catchers.

This place will make you cry. If you like starbucks, then this place isn’t for you. I ordered a simple mocha frappiccihno and it was too liquidly and had barely any whip cream. My friend ordered a Carmel frappiccihno and they forgot the caramel. My Dad ordered an iced coffee and they gave him some random foam filled cup with ice. Starbucks? More like star-​sucks. If you want Starbucks and this is the closest place to you, you might as well go to your house, lay down, and cry.

There is a very unfriendly older gentlemen who works here in the evenings, I have received attitude from him multiple times, so I decided to stop coming at night. The day time employees are super sweet and friendly, but unfortunately this Starbucks is always so slow.

I stopped into this Starbucks for a quick beverage while my kids were attending a birthday party. I go to Starbucks a lot, and normally the service is good and the facilities are clean. Not this place — I mean, the service is fine enough, but this place is filthy. The first thing I noticed walking in the door was that trash is overflowing from the trash can near the front door. Literally. Two people just walked out and a few cups just fell on the floor when they tried to add their empty cups. There are three people working here right now and it’s not even busy — no one can take the trash out??? Next, there is trash and crumbs strewn about the floor. It’s everywhere. Under the food displays by the front counter, near the napkin and milk station… Gross. While waiting for my drink to be made, I decided to hit the bathroom. No luck, the men’s room is out of order. No big deal, it happens. Grabbed my drink, decided to relax a bit on the Cody leather chairs… Hmmm, maybe I’ll clean the crumbs and food off myself. Oh and look, food all over the floor! Way to go!
My drink is fine, and again, no complaints about the service (although no one here looks happy or too welcoming, but I don’t mind that so much). But this place is a dump! A part of me wants to pretend I’m a district manager so I could force them to clean this mess up, but alas, I’m not.
The manager of this place needs to get his/​her staff under control. This is well below the standards set by the other Starbucks I frequent in downtown Oakland. By at all what is expect from a chain coffee shop in the burbs.

Rudest barista I’ve ever encountered. I ordered a soy vanilla latte and she made a plain latte. I said nicely that I ordered a vanilla and she went on and on to rudely tell me «she didn’t write that on the cup so it’s not my fault» Alrighty then. Not what the customer wants to hear. Wasn’t my fault either but isn’t that a moot point?! Just fix it. No biggie. How about, «Let me remake your drink for you, sorry about that.» Then she proceeds to slam the drink down and say «here’s your VANILLA latte». The lady next to me said,“I had a problem with her too”. Rude, just rude. I wanted to make a scene but she’s not worth it. Unhappy woman. I tell my children all the time that I don’t care who screwed it up, just fix it.

This place is close to my work, conveniently located in a shopping plaza, and by a Bank of America ATM. It has indoor and outdoor seating, with of course wifi.

This Starbucks is awesome. Super convenient because it’s close to my apartment as well to Saint Mary’s College. It’s a pretty large Starbucks with plenty of seating inside and out. The baristas are super friendly whenever I’m in there and the service is always really quick. Even when the place is packed it still only takes about 3 minutes to get my drinks then I’m out of there.
I’ve been to many Starbucks because of the gf and this one has to be my favorite because I don’t have to wait forever to get out of there. I’m not an avid coffee drinker so she orders me the vanilla bean frap since it’s practically a milkshake lol.

I have been to this Starbucks quite a few times throughout my years at SMC. Let me tell you how shitty of service I just experienced the other day. #1 I waited for my regular Blonde roast for about 20 minutes. 20 minutes for a freaking house coffee. #2 I was completely ignored for those 20 minutes… I wasn’t asked once about what I was waiting for. I understand I look like a young, naïve student but treat me as an equal. #3 When I finally received my coffee, it tasted like dirty bean water with old milk. Mind you, I got a venti… Threw away the whole cup. The starbucks located in the Safeway has better service, that should say something.
LAFAYETTE STARBUCKS IS THE WAY TO GO.

Starbucks in Moraga. This is a fine one. No complaints, they have a decent number outlets, nice people, outdoor seating, plenty of parking and the music not too loud.
As with most Starbucks be aware that when school lets out this place will be swamped.

I came here on a Sunday morning around 9am and the place was buzzing! Only about 2 – 3 people sitting down enjoying their drinks but about 6 people in line. Even though the line was a little long it moved super fast!
The Husband ordered a Venti Green Tea Frappuccino with Whip and a Sausage Breakfast Sandwich and I ordered a Tall Iced Peach Green Tea and an Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese. Everything came out correctly and we enjoyed our food. Even though there was a lot of people standing around waiting for their food everything came out quickly with a short wait.
I like this location because there are plenty of places to sit inside and you don’t have to jockey for a space. There are also a few tables outside and ample parking but unfortunately no Drive-​Thru. Boo!
When I’m back in the area again I will come back to this location for the speedy service and good food and drinks. Well, and because it’s the only Starbucks in Moraga.

4 star service and coffee, 0~1 star salad.
Sour chicken. Tummy not happy.
First time at this one today. Got food, free water and latte. Thought my chicken & greens caesar salad bowl dated 5.21 was browning; they replaced for free when i asked.
con： trash gets full fast， loud (machines & customers) ， narrow aisles by sandwich display.
pro: cashier gets me a water right away so i didnt need to wait at bar.
Afterthought: the guys seemed tired and not as smiley as the girls on cashier. But it’s ok. 3:45pm ish ~ loud, packed ~ laptop bees, teenagers, seniors and board games… overall fun mix of people.
*** Minus 1 star because the second salad bowl of chicken tasted spoiled sour as opposed to lemon juice on chicken sour. The problem is not all pieces tasted sour. Spit out. Guess salad is not great today. May just stick to coffee and pastries. ***
