Lots of issues: They have a big fly problem in the restaurant. Our corn chowder was mostly potatos, came luke warm the first time, warmer but still not hot the second. Bread was stale. Waitstaff was sympathetic and attentive, but it was disappointing that after asking the waiter to let the manager know about the chowder they did not come to the table.

We went to the Blue Heron for an afternoon snack and beverage. The setting is spectacular and the beer and drinks were all fine Nacho plate is «1 star» quality. Tasted like unseasoned cheese whiz dumped on mediocre chips. The guacamole was an unseasoned blend of mashed peas with slight trace of avocado. We left most of this pathetic offering untouched. It appears that no one with professional culinary expertise is overseeing the food operation at the Jackson Lake Lodge. If there was they wouldn’t be dumping a bag of chips on a plate, plopping on some cheese wiz, adding some jalapeños, onions and tomato and serving lukewarm at best. We cancelled dinner plans for the Mural Room as a result of this experience.

Views at this restaurant are absolutely incredible. My husband and I both got a burger which was below average in my opinion. It came with chips that were store bought. Service wasn’t bad but a little slow. I would not recommend this place but options in the park are limited.

Food was ok. Nachos has chez wiz. Disappointing. The beer brat was smaller than the bun. The corn chowder was more like potatoe chowder. Two stars for food. One star for location and view.

No bar has a better view. Friendly servers, tasty tapas. Don’t miss it on your trip to the Grand Tetons.

My wife and kids tried the Blue Heron lounge after a long day in Grand Teton National Park. Kids can’t eat in the bar area, which was fine because we sat outside and enjoyed the view of Mt. Moran and the rest of the Teton range. As soon as we sat down, a waitress brought us water and took our drink order. The beer selection was great and the wine selection wasn’t bad either. I recommend the Pako’s IPA on draft. We split a trout salad which was fantastic and had veggie burgers which were quite good. Although it was nothing fancy, the food was flavorful and was perfect fare after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was great even though they were busy and were great with our kids.

Huckleberry mojito is delicious without being too sweet. Bottles of wine start at $ 26 which is very reasonable considering the incredible Teton view you enjoy with your drinks! Food is decent considering it is prepared at a small catering station in the bar area. Edamame was served cold but was well seasoned. Nachos were average bar nachos. Service is polite but a bit rough around the edges. Seating available inside or outside. Come in the evening to hear the pianist in the hotel lobby or watch the sunset from the porch.

Love the environment, the service, the food. Great place to have lunch with a great view of all those mountains. The food was good too, especially their chowder and watermelon salad. So happy we found this place when we were there.

Far above average pub grub, great beer list & a view That Can’t Be Beat. Staff are always a little overworked, but their service is professional & courteous.

The huckleberry margarita is awesome! Sitting outside with that view and a drink in hand is sublime.

The view is to die for for starters. I can’t speak on much because we sat on the patio however the Wyoming Whiskey Chowder in the bread bowl might be the greatest thing ever. I’m not kidding if you love soup this is a must.

I waited 20 minutes to order a glass of wine. Waited another 20 to be served. There were 2 other tables with 2 people each. Not crowded. The same thing happened the next evening(I was a guest at the Lodge). I did not return after that.

Firstly, Blue Heron is located inside the Jackson Lake Lodge, which is off Jackson Lake Rd(not Jenny Lake Rd). The best thing about the Blue Heron lounge is the awesome views of Jackson Lake and the Grand Teton mountain range behind it. Seriously, it’s breathtaking. The staff there are very nice and the bar serves beer, wine, and liquor. I had some decent glasses of red on a couple nights(and they fill the glass up, don’t worry) and a few scotches on other nights. It’s a nice lounge/bar to hang out in, but the best part is outside, within view of the mountains. If there’s one thing I wish I could have done, it is to sample more of their food menu. They offer some small/tapas plates and I ordered the Charcuterie & Cheese plate, which is «Elk, wild boar, and buffalo salumis with assorted cheese, grain mustard». It’s about $ 8.95 but it’s very good(I Iike the wild boar salami the best). The Blue Heron sliders are also tasty. Nothing beats good bar food, beer(try the Old Faithful Ale from the Grand Teton brewing company), and a mountain view.(keep watching the marsh in front of the mountains and you’ll probably spot some elk running around). By the way, wi-fi may be spotty(even inside the lodge viewing room, where it works best, it’s still spotty) but Verizon 3g works.

This restaurant located inside Jackson Lake Lodge on the shore of Jackson Lake, offers small plates that are perfect along with a drink during or after a tour of the Tetons… the backdrop is magnificant… The waitstaff was very nice… wifi was not really available there, but was out in the lobby… but I did not really care that much about getting on the internet at that time… anyway…I had a bowl of chili… very good… whenever touring the Tetons, ya gotta stop here!!!
