I am torn between 2 or 3. The location of the lodge was fantastic! Located just a few miles from the south gate, as all the other reviews say. We stayed in the«cabin» part of the resort… rip off city! We booked in February, 5 months before our trip. We paid, what we were told several times, was in full. When we arrived after a 18 hour drive from Cali, we were told that what we had paid was just a deposit, only ½ of our nights were paid in full! I had called several times in the weeks prior to confirm that everything was 100% paid for and this was confirmed every time I called. @$ 280 a night we could not stay the remaining nights we had reserved. We managed to stay 3 nights, instead of 4, cutting our vacation into Yellowstone. VERYDISAPPOINTING! The«cabin» itself was cozy. Shower and tub worked fine. Most of the electrical outlets in our room didn’t work, making charging camera batteries very hard. The beds were horrible! Hard as a rock doesn’t even come close! We had a fridge and a microwave in ours, so we were able to make some meals there. It was however, very quiet(–the small human next to us having a huge screaming temper tantrum very early the next morning). Just be aware if u book here that you know what you have paid for and what you owe! We will not be returning here && will discourage any and all who ask for our opinion. Oh, they said they had wifi @ the lodge but it never worked while we were there, not a big deal. It was nice to disconnect from social media!

Even though I booked early, we were bumped. They overbooked. With the dedicated help of John, We were sent to the«Phoenix Suite.» It is not really a suite. Good part is that it is in the main building. There are few bugs. The room is bigger than usual. The bad part is that it was noisy at night and the coffe pot did not work. wifi did not work. Food is less than perfect, but no worse than other restaurants in the parks., Overall, we were pleased with their effort.

If you are looking for a place to stay that is a reasonable price, nice and convenient to either go south to the Tetons or north to Yellowstone, this is the place. You have four choices here, the lodge, furnished cabins like a motel room, a small one room cabin with nothing furnished or a campground. We chose the motel room cabin. These are refurbished cabins that are immaculate with either a king or two doubles. You can also get one for a higher price with a frig and a microwave. The cabin was spacious, with a king bed, chairs and table, coffee pot, nite stand and a dresser. You can opt out of maid service and save $ 5 a night. We were there for three nights and it worked just fine. If you need anything like more coffee or towels you just call the front desk and they will bring them to you. The only disappointment was the wifi service. It’s only available in the lodge and if you can get it, is horrible. Worst than dialup. They have a restaurant with good food and a convenient store with gas. We’ve been to the parks many times and have stayed at most of the Lodges which are all nice but, in my opinion this was the most convenient.

Though convenient to both the Tetons and Yellostone, if you can at all stay in the parks… DO! This campsite is in great need of some TLC and the bathrooms that we were near were almost disgusting. Paint was peeling, the showers were unclean and you pretty much didnt want to go in. I would have expected that from a public campground, but not from a «resort». Also, there was no wifi or cell service. And 3 of the 6 old washers were broken so there was a big line. Overall, try for the parks, but if you are desperate, then good luck.

My grand plan was to travel up through the Grand Tetons for a glimpse of wildlife but spend my first night at one of the south-most campgrounds in Yellowstone. That evening, when I reached the South Entrance, the sign said all of the campgrounds were full– a common occurrence during summer weekends– so I backtracked a few miles to Flagg Ranch. $ 35 per night is a hefty price for a place to pitch a tent especially when the NPS sites are hlaf the cost. But after 20 hours of driving, it was available and convenient. The spaces were nothing spectacular, but then I opted for a quieter location rather than a view. I hate setting up camp in RV territory. It’s not too far from the Snake River which feeds into Jackson Lake so come prepared with your mosquito repellent. The biggest perk this place has to offer: UNLIMITEDSHOWERS(included with campground fees). Don’t forget your towel & shower shoes!

Great location. Nice amenities. Pricey. This resort has lodging and camping, a full service restaurant, a convenience store, gas station, and gift shop. Starting with your standard tent or RV site, or you can choose a camp cabin with bunk beds and a table which is a nice option if you don’t have an RV and don’t want to sleep in a tent. They also offer cabins which are more like a nice budget motel room. I was not expecting the«cabin» to have such nice amenities and maid service. The deluxe cabins have a microwave and mini fridge. One note: there are no TVs in the rooms — this is on purpose. The restaurant is a nice sit down restaurant with some good entrée options. However be warned it is not cheap. All dinner options are over $ 10 and can go upwards of $ 30 for an entrée. One complaint I have is the WiFi — it is slower than dial up. It’s nice that they offer it at no charge but we couldn’t really connect with any speed so we didn’t bother after the initial session. On a positive note I think this is a great location because it’s right between Yellowstone and Grand Teton so it is easy to visit both parks. Also, the resort offers activities like horseback rides, fly fishing, and ranger programs.

We stayed here on a whim because we wanted to spend more time in Yellowstone and Tetons. It is much more expensive than it should be based on the quality of the accommodations, but I think that it was reasonably priced given the lack of other options(we weren’t camping and hadn’t planned on spending the night). The bed was very comfortable but the hideaway bed was not so comfortable. The restaurant and bar were good.

We stayed in a cabin and absolutely LOVED it! Yes, there were mosquitos and other bugs, but I do believe we were in the WILD! We found the staff helpful and liked the restaurant. The prices were high but not unexpected for a National Park that has 3 million visitors a year. We had read the Unilocal reviews before staying and got a bit nervous but we’re glad we decided to stay. Our cabin was cute, very large and clean and we loved the setting. No TV, no internet, just what we came for! And since we wanted to see both parks, the location was perfect for us.

This was the 3rd campsite on our tour of natl parks. For nearly 2x the price of a site in Glacier, Yellowstone or Grand Teton, it was a disappointment. The sites were spacious, but not private at all. There was only one, central washroom which wasn’t very clean. Only one water source for campers & the little staff. Save your $ and stay in the parks!

Pretty disappointed with this place. Given that it was the most expensive of our 2 week trip across 3 national parks, we had high expectations. This lodge is outside of the park, and offers little activities once the sun goes down(Not even a deck of cards). Worst of all, there are no screen doors on the cabins, so the first thing we had to do when we got to our room was get rid of the mosquitos, flies, ants, and spiders(yes, all 4 were there). The restaurant is overpriced and the staff isn’t quite as friendly as other lodges we stayed at. It wouldn’t have bothered me so much if the price was cut in half.
