The Lake Side Grill

Atmosphere was lovely with indoor and outdoor seating. The service was quick and friendly.
But the food was profoundly depressing.
Portion sizes were very small– about ten tiny pieces of calamari in the appetizer. The fries that came with the chicken sandwich could have fit in a 2^nd grader’s hand.
My Caesar salad made me sad. Store-​bought dressing, rock-​hard store-​bought croutons, parmesan with the dusty texture of pre-​grated product. The chicken on top was dry to the point of being chalky.
We ordered one soda, calamari, a chicken sandwich, and a chicken salad. None of it was great, and our bill was $ 40.

This place is awesome! The burgers are amazing, the service was great, the restaurant is super clean, and the view is the best around…

Lake Side has obviously worked hard and put a lot of investment in this restaurant. food was very good Burgers and fish — 4 people. We came by boat. The dock was wonderful! Clean sturdy and easy to navigate. Once on the deck an abrupt server stopped us and firmly stated we couldn’t sit on deck it was full. It felt like we shouldn’t be walking on the deck at all — which is the only way from the dock! Hello or welcome would have been nice. Servers were rushing and hustling all around. When we sat down we were immediately informed that our order would take 40 minutes And she wasn’t exaggerating. It was at least an hour. Never even offered a cracker while we waited. She stopped at table 4 times to tell us it’s coming.
It’s the food that earned the third star.
This was our second visit — we are going back even though both times the service was almost comical — everyone was trying but nothing wears going right.
If you have faith it’s worth a try — good food and 125% improved place..

As a newly renovated and owner operated business, this restaurant deserves a chance. We have eaten there twice since it opened, and the quality of the food is excellent. Almost everything is homemade, so it is a bit pricey for the area. There is a kids menu, and the views are beautiful. The service has been ok. We are hopeful that things will get rolling smoothly and make this place a success.

The service couldn’t remember our order for the life of her… and argued with me as to whether or not my salad was dressed (which it clearly wasn’t). They forgot whole parts of our order.
Food was pretty bad as well. The only redeeming quality was the view — but even that was complete with lots of little mosquitos buzzing around in the middle of the day! Avoid.
