Albertaco’s

Wifey and I stumbled across this place on our way home from Hemet late night. I know, sounds shady right? Anyway, we needed a spot that was still open, and Unilocaled the burger spot next door. When Wifey spotted this place, she said «sorry» and veered into this place instead. I told her not to be, I was down for some Albertacos too. We parked next to some Vatos smoking a joint. Got out, and told them it smelled good, and that I was jealous because I can’t partake. «Orale!» they responded and continued to puff as I grabbed my Wife’s hand and proceeded inside.
Walked in the spot, checked out the menu and ordered some grub, a soda, and a Horchata.
Went the bathroom and washed my hands in one of the grimiest, smelliest, non-​functional bathrooms I’ve seen recently. Like how the urinal is damn near under the sink. Weird. Place smelled like the inside of a Sumo Wrestlers belly-​button. Horrible.
Came back to our table and our food number was already called, so I retrieved our tray. Picked up some hot sauce and napkins (must have here) on the way to our table.
So my Wife and I ordered Carne Asada Nachos to share. The Nachos here are legit. Plenty of meat, MAD sour cream, MAD guacamole, grips of cheese. No joke we went hog on these Nachos. Nothing to special as far as taste, it was the quantity of key ingredients on these chips that made it so good. We ran out of chips before we ran out of sour cream & guac. BOMB.
My Wife also got a couple of Crispy Chicken Tacos. She said they were pretty good, and had that bomb Chicken Taco Dorado texture that was crispy, but greasy enough to soak some of the shell and make the taco soft in the middle.
I had a Carnitas Taco, and was surprised at not only the sheer size of the Taco, but the bigger chunks and morsels of the carnitas. This isn’t shredded carnitas, this is carnitas fried-​pork chunks. I dont discriminate, all types of carnitas are welcome in my book. They were really tasty, and well seasoned. A tad crispy, but tender, not juicy, in the middle. Good Taco.
I also ordered a Chicken Tostada. This is a massive Tostada. A mound of beans, lettuce, cheese, and chunks of chicken sitting in a little puddle of enchilada sauce. Its so big and messy, its hard to eat without getting food all over your face. I liked it very much, but I think that next time I come here I will just get a plain bean tostada. All that chicken made it a bit too much food to load onto a single tostada shell.
The Horchata was really good. A little more cinnamon that usual, which was a good thing.
We stuffed ourselves, then went to get refills before we left. While doing so, some drunk Brother started chatting me up, trying to be friendly, and started telling me a joke he couldn’t finish. Seriously, he started over three times and ended with two different punchlines. I listened for a minute, but I had to roll. Reeking of booze, he started following us outside, and when he approached us again, he asked for a buck. I don’t usually, but he was being cool so I floated him a couple I had in my cell-​phone pocket. He told me to remember him and his joke. (super-​faded) Well, it worked because here I am talking about him.
Then we boned out.

Their nachos and carnesada fries are great. The down side about their drive thru is that they take a while to get your order and need a better speaker.

Carne asada fries are the BEST!!! Best fries in town hands down! Don’t be afraid of the look or appearance… the food is great! Drive through service is also fast!

They are there for me when I need them at 5 O’clock in the morning. They are there for me when I need a study break from Political Science. They are there for me when I need that Mexican food on my taste buds. They are there when I want to hear the Mexican accent of the Mexican cook providing me with my Mexican food. They are a million times legit and I love them.

Love their California burrito & carne asada nachos/​fries. Only bad thing is that this place ALWAYS smells and it makes you lose your appetite. So best thing is drive thru or sit FAR away from the bathrooms.

This place has great food at good prices, I’ve been coming here for 2 years and they have a 24 hr for this late night munchies

I love eating breakfast at this place. The staff is always friendly and the chorizo plate and burrito is delicious. The chicken fries with guacamole, sour cream and Pico de Gallo are incredible too.

Best chicken enchiladas. Awesome prices. Check them out if in the area, or if your not.

I always come here to fix my Carne asada fries cravings. Open 24 hours, no matter what shift I work, I can always count on them to make the perfect fries.

I went in there briefly this morning and am very happy I went in instead of the drive through. It allowed me to see how things really are. The second I stepped inside, the place didn’t look too inviting. It was dirty and not a place I would want to sit down and eat. I went to use the restroom and that was the absolute dirtiest restroom I have ever seen! I feel like I need to take five showers and just scrub myself. It was absolutely disgusting. I promptly left. If the restaurant and restrooms are that dirty, I am terrified of what the kitchen may look like.

The food is garbage. I had carnitas burrito, the tortilla was burned, the meat was dry.

Shredded beef tacos were not fresh. Stale taco shells and the beef was so dried out from being under a heat lamp all day. We will not return.

I have created a carne Asada breakfast burrito that is the best that I’ve ever had In. My. Life. However, it seems like when I order it, they have an issue with me asking for it. Staff could be a little more friendly considering I’m a paying customer willing to pay the extra cost to have what I want. I understand that it’s a little pretentious to order off menu but I’m literally just asking for beef instead of pork, both of which they offer. In summary, food = great. Customer service = needs improvement.

This is a great place to get Mexican fast food that is like restaurant served food, but at drive thru prices. It’s in the old Taco Bell building on Alessandro Blvd in Moreno Valley, you got to try it!

Wish I could give this 0 stars. We have eaten here before we never had problems but all of a sudden that changed I ordered the chicken burrito and added beans, sour cream and pico to it we got home and I shared it with my daughter… No more then two hours later I was throwing all the food up… Hours after we had all gone to bed my daughter woke up and started throwing up. I wouldn’t suggest eating here when we went in the store it was rather dirty the tables didn’t look like they had been wiped down and there was even someone’s trash sitting on one of the tables it also smelled pretty bad. Do your selfs a favor and try to stay away.

The food is amazing! And the fact that they are open 24 hours is great. My boyfriend introduced me to this place and I’ve been hooked ever since. The California burritos are great and the chips with cheese and guac are amazing. Seems like it’s all I crave. Ugh. LOL. 4 stars out of 5 because the customer service is horrible. There’s been times where I’ll be waiting to order (in the drive-​thru) and I have to speak before they do. The employees don’t have any type of people skills. NONE. They’re not friendly or talkative at all. Nonetheless, the food is great! I would def recommend trying it out.

This place has bomb food, I’ve tried enchiladas, burritos, carne asada fries and everything was good.
You know this place is great when their drive thru line goes around the block.
