Moving Things Along

Absolutely the best moving company I’ve ever used. They were on time, friendly. And accommodating. Their quotes was right on and well under my budget. I will use them again and recommend them to everyone. They did this all with one week’s notice and worked into my schedule.

Absolutely awful moving experience.
2 weeks prior to my move, started looking for movers. Filled out the online form on ⁵⁄₂₆ and was contacted by John almost immediately. After a little back and forth, we set a date and time of June 6^th at around 9pm.
Fast forward a week later to June 1^st, I am begininng to finalize my move (cutting off utilities, turning on service at new location, packing all items into the garage to expedite the move, etc.) I begin to worry that I may have too much stuff for the movers. I emailed John again to confirm, the size of the truck they will be arriving with, he confirms a 26 foot truck.
Friday the 5^th rolls around and I receive an email at 3pm stating they would be unable to accommodate my move and wouldn’t be available until Tuesday ⁶⁄₉.
So, what kind of moving service cancels on you with less than 24 hours notice with no explanation as to the reason of the cancellation. Moving is a stressful enough process as it is, why add to it by leaving me no room to scramble and find alternate means if needed? I’m sure John didn’t just finish lunch on Friday the 5^th and realize there was an issue. I get it, things happened, however communication would’ve helped a LOT. I scheduled the mover almost 2 weeks out for a reason, to avoid such situations. And to offer a Tuesday move is laughable, so you expect me to take off work to accommodate your shoddy and unprofessional service.
Stay away, far far away!

From my first conversation with Moses Moreno until the last goodbyes to the movers, I was impressed with this company! Moses explained all charges and was flexible and considerate. He confirmed everything with an email. The 2 men who did the moving were prompt (I WAS LATE!) and super efficient. They were friendly and very polite also. I went with the insurance provided at no extra charge, and they handled my stuff like it was theirs! I was SO happy with the experience, I called Moses to tell him how GREAT the men he sent up from Moreno Valley were! I live in the San Bernardino mountains, and this company came all the way up here to move me!!! I will definitely call MOVING THINGS ALONG for my next move, and I HIGHLY recommend them for yours!!! :) Great business, great price, great movers! Don’t call anyone else, these guys are the BEST!

Moving Things Along. Very Professional! They worked with my crazy scheduled. I had to change the appointment date twice. They are pretty reasonable at $ 85.00/hour for two guys. The movers were so polite, informative and professional, I was quite surprised. I never heard them bumping my walls with my furniture or anything of that nature. Also, they really moved and never killed time. They corrected my bad wrap job to ensure my glass, mirrors were secured. Glad I found them.
