I will start this review by saying that the community lake club is beautiful. When you’re driving up the street the lake is just breathtaking. It’s always been a dream of mine to live in a house right off the lake and these houses are beautiful. I have several family members that live in the community and the houses are well kept. This review however, will not be for the actual lake club itself but rather, for the rules and employees that make it impossible to utilize these facilities. We come here often with my family and each resident only has 6 guests(per household per day) that are allowed to enter the lake club. Having said this, there have been multiple occasions where we drive up to the gate with our guests and there is some type of issue where they will deny our entry. One day, we had a lake club resident in our car and he did not have his lake club I.D. on him. Because he did not have his I. D on him they would not let us into the lake club. The workers were well aware that he lived in the lake club and they clearly recognized us from previous encounters and STILL would not let us in. It’s upsetting when you get together with your guests and are excited for a planned outing only to be denied at the gates for such an absurd reason. The next two times we went with a group of a few people their gates weren’t working so we couldn’t go in. Until they stop behaving as though they are airport security, I simply cannot bare making any more trips to the lake club.

Here we go again– the mail thieves are back and all the association can say is «The Board has created an ad hoc committee to look into replacing some of the cluster boxes» WTF how long are they going to look into it and how many people’s identification has to be stolen!!! DONOT buy or rent a house within Sunnymead Ranch until the association that takes $ 108 a month from you can protect your mail with a box perhaps a few years newer than the 28 plus year old ones that they apparently think are good enough now!!!

No one likes coming here because you can’t do anything, there are far too many rules the main office guy apparently hates his life, he’s always rude talks down to people and always has an attitude. Half the damn time you can’t even go there because of some stupid reason, seems like we are paying for all these rennovations that no one really cares about. They hire these kids in the summer to run boats and all they do is screw around, they obviously have no idea what they are doing. The place is always full of trash around the lake and they also screw with the lake too much with blue stoning the lake. I say if they are going to enforce all these rules why not enforce them on the lake where the homes are these guys always have unattended fishing rods with lines out, people spraying chemicals around their yard which seeps into the lake… do something about it. The only thing they have done right is actually hired some nice security guards, most of those guys are really nice compared to the old dick head security which I’ve had countless problems with in the past when I’m just minding my own business fishing. I’ve been going there for over 24 years and I just don’t like the atmosphere and the rude office people. you wonder why you hardly ever see people there.

I enjoy coming to the Sunnymeade Ranch Community Lake Club even for just a few minutes to help get away from the stress and chaos of everyday life. I even find myself purposefully causing myself to pay my HOA fees at the office just to sneak away and check out the lake and relax my mind. Whenever I want a quick workout I ensure I pop into the local gym, though a bit on the tiny side, or relax my sore muscles in the heated Jacuzzi or even sunbathe by the pool. The administrative office is small and can get a bit tied up during busy office hours, however, the staff are always welcoming and glad to assist with whatever administrative needs or clubhouse duties may need to be handled and addressed. Overall I would say would be one of the top Homeowner Associations within the Moreno Valley area. Though a bit outdated, I am always amazed how well-maintained and how beautiful the campus looks. Friends and family that stop by or always shocked that I live in an area with my own private lake and I always seem to smile and take a sense of pride that I live in the Sunnymead Ranch Community.
