When you are in a small town, your options are very limited. Waffle House just seemed like the place to go although to be honest with you I am not the biggest fan of Breakfast food but ok… Our Server was outgoing, attentive, nice and on top of our orders. I cannot say that the food did not taste great but it was not the cleanest place either. Will I come here again? Most likely yes since it is not like there is much competition in the area.

Grease. That’s all i can even say about it. Everything is full of grease. You can expect to go to the bathroom within the hour of eating.

«If this is a Waffle House, then how come I can’t eat the building?!» Even if the building was edible and made of waffles I wouldn’t eat it. This place is dirty. I had a bad feeling about this place because of the two other bad reviews but decided to give it a shot anyways. Inside, some of the tables weren’t wiped down and the kitchen looked questionable. I ordered the two egg plate(plus another egg added for 50 cents) for a total of $ 4.90 before tax. It comes with toast or biscuit, and a choice of hash browns or sliced tomatoes. Not bad for the price. Plus, the food comes out quick. After watching them make it though, I wasn’t so sure I wanted it anymore. Only one person was cooking food for everyone so she did everything, including handling bacon and toasting bread at the same time. I saw her pick up the raw bacon meat and then proceed with handling the toasted bread. I also noticed a band aid on her finger that was covered in yellow butter while she was doing this. Gross. I did see her wash her hands once, but she used this nasty looking rag to dry her hands. I’m sure it’s fine because I’m not feeling sick, but that’s pretty nasty. The cashier accidentally overcharged two of us on our meals. It took a long time to handling the over charges. They were probably tired because this place runs 24⁄7 though. There aren’t that many breakfast restaurants to eat in Morgan City.

I don’t understand why the wait staff at this establishment are so rude and hate to do their jobs. Each time I’ve gone here I have walked out with out EVER having a waiter. First time my husband and myself sat at our booth for 15 min and no one acknowledged us, we left. Second time we went to try it again and the same thing but this time the cook took our order and we never got a refill. The last time we where ignored again while we sat in a restaurant that was full of empty tables that needed cleaning. I will never return to this place. I will go to Walmart at 3am and get sandwich meat first instead of going back there even if it is the only place open at that time.

Stopped at WH at 8:45pm sun feb 15 to have a bite before continuing on to New Orleans. No one greeted us. We sat at the available table, which had not been cleaned yet. After waiting for more than five minutes, I set the timer on my phone. After 13 additional minutes, we had not been acknowledged. I ask what were the hours and the reply was 24hr. The place was less than half full, with an attending staff of 6. As customers left, they stood in line to pay for a long while. Every unoccupied table and booth had not been cleared. A group of four, who had come in 10 minutes after we did, got up and left. We also got up and went to the McDonald’s down the street. While there, another group of five, who had left WH after us, came in to McDonald’s. Everyone was baffled by the experience at the Waffle House.
