Crazy Kat Creativity Center

I love Kristi! Her spirit and passion for childcare is unmeasurable. She offers daily creative projects for the children which she tailors to different age groups, healthy (and mostly organic) homemade meals. She has a great large backyard with a play structure, but also with a variety of foliage and gardens for the children to really explore nature. She offers both structured and unstructured play so the children build and gain confidence in their skills. She also gets both my boys to nap (1&3) which in my eyes makes her a miracle worker!

Kristi takes care of my 2.5 year old son. She does lightly structured educational activities, lots of outside playtime, and provides a very warm environment. I trust her with my child, and he adores going to see Miss Kristi. Meals are provided, and rates are reasonable.

Our daughter has been with Krazy Kat Creativity Center off and on for about a year now. During that time we’ve had to move around a bit and try other day care centers in the area, and in San Jose. None have compared to the ease of drop off and pick up, or kindness, thoughtfulness and education that our daughter has received here. Highly recommended if you value both formal education and physical motor skill development. A really wonderful place.

As a teacher myself, I was excited to learn that Kristi creates a safe and fun learning environment based on the developmental needs of early childhood. Both the outside yard and the inside play space are thoughtfully designed to accommodate kiddos at every age and stage. She goes to the extra mile to develop a sincere relationship with children – modeling trust, respect and caring. I am always impressed when I drop off my one year old, to hear the thoughtful comments of other children. It is clear that Kristi works to create a sense of community and friendship amongst the group of children under her care.
Daily activities are based in early education and are not only fun for the kids, but help to develop important foundational skills. The inside space in particular is divided up into age appropriate games and she never uses/​relies on TV as an ‘activity’! In fact, over the summer months Kristi organizes special field trips to local areas. Her focus on being healthy (mind and body) translates to good food and great exercise! My one year old needs a good amount of stimulation and she LOVES attending Miss Kristi’s! There is always variety and a delightful amount of energy waiting at Miss Kristi’s!
I absolutely recommend Miss Kristi and Crazy Kat Creativity Center to anyone looking for a safe, fun, educational child care center that truly seeks to help kids explore and grow!

Kristi is educated in child development, CPR/​First Aid certified, health and safety certified, and licensed by the State of California. She offers arts and crafts projects which the children can take home to Mom and Dad. She provides only healthy meals. She helps in teaching the preschool children (ABC’s, numbers, etc.) and helps the older children to read. She offers weekly field trips during the summer and often walks the kids to Paradise Park around the corner. There are several items for the children to play on outside and Kristi encourages the children to have play time to stay physical. Inside there are many books, games, toys, puzzles, and learning activities for all ages, boys and girls. Full time, part time and drop-​ins are welcome. Hands down… the best care around!
