I had a pain in my shoulder blades that hadn’t gone away in 2 weeks and I was completely stressed out, wanting a massage which I rarely treat myself to. I asked Janet if she could work on the sore spot, but then also do a relaxing massage in an 1 ½ session. She was able to accommodate both.
She really worked the knotted shoulder area, using techniques that I was skeptical on (really, you can help it by doing THAT?) but it worked!!! I’m a busy working mom and was worried I’d have to go back for multiple sessions to get rid of the knot, but nope… At least in this case, that one session worked it out.
The relaxing massage was also great. She was able to work just the right amount of pressure and used a customized aromatherapy blend for me (nice change from the usual lavender or eucalyptus). Her shop is also very quiet and tranquil.
Now… If I can just find the time to treat myself to another session! :)

Both my wife and I have been seeing Janet for quite some time now and I have to say that she is absolutely amazing. I have had many massages over the years but Janet’s massages are unlike any other I have received before. Her massages are not only physically relaxing but also extremely therapeutic and tension relieving. Where I may be having pain in one location, she knows exactly where to go to relieve my chronic symptoms. Janet also has a vast knowledge of cranial-​sacral therapy which has been a blessing for my wife who has TMJ and has helped her immensely in relieving her headaches and jaw pain.
Extremely relaxing, mindful of current conditions, wonderful positive attitude, very knowledgable and super talented at what she does and it shows. Every time I have had a massage from Janet, I know that I am going to sleep really well that evening.
If you think you’ve had a good massage before in the past with another therapist… you haven’t until you see Janet.

Janet is an amazing massage therapist! I am so lucky I found her… cause I feel amazing. I can breathe better, sleep better my body feels so much better. This appt was awesome — The best body work that I ever had. She is worth every dollar spent. I have been wanting to get trigger point work to release the knots and very tight muscles I have been carrying around for some time. I have gotten all sorts of fancy and not so fancy massages but nothing like the work Janet does! She was so knowledgeable about how the body works and where it gets stuck and she works out the blockages. I can’t put into words how amazing she is!

Who fixes the health care professional? As a physical therapist assistant with hip and knee issues, Janet is my go to massage therapist. I have been to many massage therapists before discovering Janet. Her knowledge of anatomy is comprehensive but her intuitive skills on where the problem is and how to fix you is unparalleled. She is there to find and fix the source of your problem, not just to massage where it hurts. This is the true definition of therapeutic massage.
I have not run across another massage therapist that has her skill or ability to decrease and even eliminate your symptoms. Believe it or not, she is better than most physical therapists I know.
And her quirky sense of humor makes the session very enjoyable!

A wonderful massage… Janet knows her techniques and will customize your massage. She will also customize aromatherapy if you want that added to your service. I walked out of her room like a new person.

This is a deep tissue massage almost a rolfer but man can she seek out any issues you may have and push pull and tear them out, She is worth every dime as she is the most talented body work person I have ever used and she is someone who truly cares about your wellness.

Janet Barke is a phenomenal massage therapist with reasonable prices for the best massage experience available in Morgan Hill. She exceeds my expectations each time I get a massage and could not be happier to recommend anyone to her for a massage. The environment is tranquil and extremely sanitary.
