We made the mistake of taking a handful of my daughter’s dresses in for alterations. As my daughter tried on each one, the owner, Julie, pinned the dress and described how she would approach the alteration. Her quotes were very reasonable so we agreed, setting a pick up for a few weeks later. The dresses were NOT READY ON TIME, and the PRICE WAS ALMOST DOUBLE the original quote.
Adding insult to injury, NOT ONE OF THEM FIT RIGHT, AND JULIE HAD AN ATTITUDE when we went back to get them refit a second time.
After a brief discussion about how the price was double and not one of them fit, we admitted that we were no longer confident that Julie would be able to fix them. I asked for ½ of our money back to get the dresses refit somewhere else.
Julie took our contact information but failed to respond — which is why I am, for the first time, willing to be very negative and say — UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW AWAY BOTH YOUR CLOTHES AND YOUR MONEY — DO NOT GO HERE FOR CLOTHES TAILORING.
