A brief background on us , We have been in Morgan Hill for about 6 months . My child has been doing Kumon since kindergarten and since we moved the center had to be changed . We got reference for Kumon in Morgan Hill and my daughter started her first day there , since she was a transfer student she was supposed to start from where she left in the old center . But the center head at Kumon Morgan Hill told my daughter that she doesn't even know addition and that she should restart with Level where she was starting level E in her previous center . It was situation of concern and I decided to meet the head personally , she was very firm that my child doesn't know addition and how will she do fractions . So I asked her to reassess my child at every level and she did and my child did well in every test . Yet she came and told me that my child should start from level B . I told her that this is crazy and I want to withdraw my child , she immediately said that she could start with level E .

The center head wasn't able to fool us and my child is happily back with her old center head and excelling .

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!

My older child was having academic woes and my younger children were entering school when we stumbled upon Kumon. My child can now handle and succeed at their homework and school work and my younger children are apt to learn in school. I love Kumon and the practice that they provide for my children. It is inexpensive for the invaluable skills that they give children.
