Came around 9am to grab a couple of donuts. Service was really slow because there was only one person doing everything(taking orders, making sandwiches, manning the cash register). Bought two donuts(original glazed and maple). Both were fresh and tasted ok. Not worth waiting a long time for though.

ATTENTION: THEYPUTMAYONAISEONTHEIRBREAKFASTSANDWICHES. Came here once for an egg and cheese croissant. Took it across the street o the baseball field. Open, take a bite, and the egg almost slides off the sandwich because… It’s loaded with mayo. Nasty. Gave sandwich to hubby, and made a mental note to order with out mayo next time. Fast forward a few weeks. Try again. Huby orders, asks for no mayo, and brings back to the field(without checking… Eee). Open, and whaddya know… Mayo! I walk all the way back to tell them what happened. The lady looked annoyed, didn’t apologize, and took nearly 15 minutes to make another egg sandwich without mayo. My baby was screaming by the time it was done. Can’t blame her. Oh, and the donuts are nothing to write home about. Won’t be back :(

This place is right down the street from my house. It has take a lot out of me to not come here every weekend to pick up some donuts. Although the donuts are tasty, some could use more toppings. Chocolate on the old fashioned was there but i’ve definitely seen others use more. The Staff– Ive only seen two people there at one time. The only downfall is that sometimes people order sandwiches and it takes a bit of time for the workers to get to you because they have to make the customers breakfast sandwich. I’ve seen a lot of people getting them so they must be good. The Donuts– as I mentioned above, they are pretty tasty here. The selection is average. I bought some last sunday and bought more than I thought I could have. I saved them for the following day in an air tight container and when I did have them, they were still really soft. The Place– Ok so this place is not huge and it looks a little bit old. Don’t let this discourage you. Some of the best eats I’ve had have come from work out places. Its not that the whole place is raggedy but it has that typical donut shop look

My second favorite doughnut shop in town, would not hesitate to stop here when I’m in the neighborhood. So yummy! Would like a little more variety but quality is usually pretty good.

They have the best doughnuts and bagels in Gilroy and Morgan Hill. The owners are very friendly I’ve never had a bad experience.

Best donuts I’ve had in years and it is just 5 minutes from our house. With all the food police in California I didn’t think donuts existed in our parts anymore. Purchased a maple old-fashion, chocolate old-fashion, and a fritter. Fresh and not greasy tasting. This will be my guilty pleasure when craving donuts.

I remember going to summer school across the street one summer and making frequent stops here for their pillowy soft donut holes. A recent stop here one afternoon showed me that not much had changed. Though they ran out of donut holes that day, a regular glazed was not something to scoff at. They did add a sandwich menu. I got a turkey on a croissant, and the woman was very nice and asked me if I wanted it toasted and what kind of produce I wanted on it — which I thought was a great touch to customize my sandwich, instead of automatically making it. Pro-tip: the liquor store is next door.

Lombardo’s donuts has had the best donuts for as long as I can remember. I’ve been in morgan hill for well over 15 years and I’ve yet to find better donuts around. The staff is always super friendly and fast, helping you get in and out quickly. They will always have my business, and I hope they always stay open!

I’ve driven by here plenty of times, but have never actually gone in.(But definitely wanted to) To my luck, a co-worker had made a donut run not too long ago, and brought back a box full of deliciousness from here. They were pretty great. I’m hoping there will be another donut run again soon.

After a morning of volunteering nearby I thought the Hubby and I deserved a treat and a quick Unilocal shows Lomarbo’s just a short drive away, little did we know half of the town was without power which included the entire shopping plaza this Donut shop is in. Despite the lack of power the owner stayed open, bonus points for that. The selection here is really good with raised, cake and regular Donuts along with Apple Fritters and Bars. Hubby and I got the Apple Fritter( ) and an Apple filled one( ) to share which were both really big. The Apple Fritter was my favorite of the two — Crispy on the outside without being greasy, the inside was soft with lot’s of Apple. Probably one of the best Apple Fritters I have had. Both were very fresh and a great price at $ 3. Aside from Donuts there is also Croissants and Sandwiches available along with Coffee and Tea. Inside seating is plentiful, cash only.

Do you like Apple Fritters??? Then run don’t walk… go this week not next to Lombardo’s for theirs’! OMG!!! Honestly, I can not imagine a better fritter, this is a 10+. Crispy outer edge! actually some apple in the middle! Wonderful icing, everywhere, tasty but not too thick and sweet. All for $ 1.50 with friendly service & in a clean well kept place with several places to sit, talk, & enjoy one of the most wonderfully decadent donuts I’ve had in my life.

I’ve been coming to this place since I was a kid. It’s changed ownership since then but the tradition of great donuts continues. Further to this they now have a bunch of bagels and breakfast sandwiches.

It’s not just an institution, it’s tradition. Lombardo’s has been making the best donuts in Morgan Hill for over 50 years. I always stop here for donuts when I want to make my office team smile. The have fresh, hot coffee and they now sell breakfast/lunch sammiches! They are great! FYI you can now pay with your plastic if your purchase exceeds $ 3…right on!

Went here and grabbed a raspberry filled donuts, bear claw, cinnamon swirl, chocolate mclares & got a free glazed donut. Price about $ 6. The raspberry filling taste artifical, so I would not get that again. The others were good! This will be my new donut shop until I find better in MH.

I think this place may have changed owners or something, they don’t keep as good of stock on drinks as they used to, the service isn’t quite as friendly or prompt, and the donuts just seem different, can’t really put my finger on it exactly but they as not as good or big as they used to be or some shit, anyway kinda a bummer.

1 star for friendly service 1 star for the price of donuts(pretty cheap, most under $ 1) 1 star for buttermilk type donut 1 star for great choices This place is CASHONLY though. My bf and I got a bunch of donuts for us and for my brother: glazed(I didn’t try it), maple traditional(AMAZING but too much of the sweet maple glaze on top), buttermilk glaze(right amount of glaze and awesome crunch outside; light like a cake and not too heavy like most donuts), chocolate glaze(pretty much the same as buttermilk but with chocolate on top). All this for under $ 5!!! After consuming all this, I need to definitely work out! I’m sure the pounds will just add on. This place is great!

This donut place is great bang for your buck. Walk in with a buck, get a bang in your mouth! Located in a small plaza on W Main and Hale, this shop can be easily missed. They had a decent selection of donuts: regular, old-fashioned, bars, fritters, rolls, etc. Nothing too different from your local donut shop. Tried the maple old-fashioned(my default donut), a buttermilk donut, and a regular glazed. Maple was heavy and a bit too sweet. The buttermilk glazed tasted just like a cake with a crunchy shell. Best of the bunch. And the regular glazed was just a regular old glazed donut. Good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Service was extremely friendly! I’d come back if I was in the area. Summary: 3.5÷5 stars rounded up +Great service +Bang for your buck(most donuts under a dollar) +Buttermilk donuts! –Cash only –Not too many of each kind of donut available
