Last night, my twelve year old needed a pair of new tennis shoes for school and it was nearly 8pm when we finally had a break to run and get them. We got to the Payless Shoe Source just as they were closing… and — while other store employees might have either shut the doors early or made us feel uncomfortable for walking in so close to closing time — Giovanni (sp?) was awesome. He welcomed us, helped us find the right pair of shoes (we ended up with two pairs!) and gave us a clue on how to get discounts on our phone.
It was a great experience and he was really a great example of a professional, customer-​centric employee!

I love this Payless! I am always able to find cute shoes for ridiculous prices! I was in this store yesterday and I found exactly the kind of shoes that I had come in for. Sadly I couldn’t find any in my size (the ever popular 9 ½). I asked the sales clerk if there were any 9 ½s available. He offered to special order them for me and then told me that store policy was to take an extra $ 4 off for the hassle of having to wait for them to come. I should have my new $ 11 shoes next week!!!
