Excellent experience here. They have a lot of candies we haven’t had in a very long time. :-) Chick o stick, Abba zabba, root beer float mike n ikes, Idaho potato spuds, hubba Bubba root beer and others. It’s a candy specialty shop so don’t expect cheap prices but they’re not outrageous either. Reasonable is a good word to describe it. We’ll be back again sometime. Check it out if you’re in town.

Good, very creative and«homey» candy shop but very rude clerk. Buy candy somewhere else that deserves your hard earned buck. Two stars for the chocolate only.

Wow! Fantastic boy’s haircut, exquisite candy, and all under $ 30 and in less than 30 minutes. My family loves this place!

My kids love this store! Lots of candies that you won’t find anywhere else. Love the décor and the friendly workers. Having a kiddie haircut place on the side is a cute addition.

Cute little store. For not being big it had a pretty good variety of candies and sweets. Quite a few«serve yourself» jars of gummies, coated nuts, etc. They also had a nice selection of retro, hard to find candy. OK, when was the last time you saw a cylinder of «Flicks?» They had«Flicks!» I used to love«Flicks.» Oops! Did I just date myself? The store also had some sugar-free choices which is nice for those folks who can never find sugar-free candy. I’ll be back!

We had such a great experience having my(almost) 2 year old son’s hair cut at a children’s salon in Fresno we thought we’d try this one out. After reading the other reviews I’ve come to the conclusion that the salon is only as good as the hair dresser. My son’s haircut is SO bad. It literally looks like I took dull scissors to it. To be fair, my son was screaming the whole time, but isn’t that why you bring your child to a children’s salon? The cut we had in Fresno was fabulous and yes, he was screaming the whole time(we tip well). Anyway, beware. Ask questions before you let a young male cut your hair at this salon.

I love this little shop! It has the great candy you can imagine and wow what a supply. So much old school candy it had me remembering what the ice cream man had when I was little. Such a selection compared to the current«ice cream» man who doesn’t have much at all. Great place and I will be back soon!

I was hesitant to come here since it’s a bit odd to have a candy shop and hair cutting all in one. I do have to say it’s a genius idea though! I decided to take a chance and see how the haircutting skills were here. I explained to the hairstylist my experience at another kids cutting spots in town and she assured me that she wouldn’t disappoint me. She was right! She told me that they own another salon in San Jose and that she does hair at the Candy Parlour a couple days a week. They have a male stylist that helps the other days when she’s not in. As for the cut, I explained to her what I wanted and she did a great job. You can tell she has experience. I’ll definitly be going back there! Downfall is, I can’t leave withou buying candy hence the reason I say it’s a genius idea! =) No complaints although a suggestion is to have the candy lowered because just as another person outlined in another review, my child can’t see into the jars so I’m having to pick her up to choose. Thanks for bringing this place to Morgan Hill. I’m happy it’s here!

Went to The Candy Parlour on a Sunday afternoon for a birthday party. They set up a cute table in the front of the store for the cupcake celebration that would take place later in the party. The staff whisked the kiddos to the back hair salon and sent them on a pirate treasure hunt throughout the store — the kids had a great time and staff helped the ones that were a little lost, which was nice :) After the treasure hunt the kids had their glamour session which for the boys was spray color or colored hair gel and crazy styles — for the girls it was finger nail painting and make-up application, which they loved! Next was a game of musical chairs and then the hockey pockey followed by singing to the birthday princess and cupcakes! Was a fun time and kids seemed to have a blast! Was a little weird because the store was still open to the public, which was fine, but I saw more then one group walk in the door and then be startled by the party going on — they weren’t sure if they should stay and get some yummy candy or run out the door because they were intruding… Was fun buying candy I hadn’t seen in years that I got to savor later in the evening!

Loved, loved LOVED this place! My 3yr old has never been able to sit through a hair cut. He was even been cut before because he jerks like crazy and is usually screaming thought the whole thing. This was not a problem at The Candy Parlour! This is a cute place, and everyone is so nice. As far as the price, it is decently priced as it is a kids cut place and they usually range in the $ 15 – 20 range. Can’t wait to go back, worth the drive from newark.

I LOVE the new Candy Parlour conveniently located downtown. They have a great selection of old candies that are hard to find nowadays. The store is very clean and I love that the candy jars are placed just high enough to keep little ones fingers out of them. There is also an adorable kids cutting area in back. Kid’s cuts are only $ 15 and if your child gets a cut they give them a Parlour Buck to spend in the store. They also host childrens parties! What a great idea… not enough places in Morgan Hill geared for kids parties. I look forward to visiting the Candy Parlour again soon!
