Honestly it was very sub par too expensive for what you get. Taste like a chain kinda blah! Bring back Stephs Drive sorry it just doesn’t feel right. Don’t think we will be back.

So I have been here a couple of times since it opened and there are some good things about it. The menu is rather simple. It has an In-N-Out feel to it, which is appealing in a local burger joint. The food was actually really good too. The food took way too long to get out. One time it took them 25 minutes to get us 2 shakes. Way too long. This is a reoccurring problem every time I go. There seems to be way too many people behind the counter working there. The service should be faster with that many people. The quality of the food makes up for the service to a degree.

Was terribly disappointed by this restaurant. My order took 30 mins to receive and the $ 8.00 chicken strip combo consisted of three overly breaded strips with fries that were thin and over cooked. The $ 4.00 «Baja Salad» was a 5×9 pan of iceberg lettuce with multi-colored tortilla chips and cheese. Every other place I have ordered a Baja style salad it had some sort of chicken in it. The only things I enjoyed was the extremely nice workers and the shakes. So if you are looking for a place to hang out and enjoy a delicious shake with multiple choices then I suggest hitting up J’s. If your looking for a reasonably priced food joint I’d suggest to keep on driving.

We love that they continue the tangee legacy. That is about all I like at J’s. The hamburger patties are paper thin. A triple cheese burger might be ¼ pound. The fries are small and thin. The wait is long.

I have been to J’s probably half a dozen times so far and have had a great experience each time. Apparently J’s was the name of the original restaurant that was in the same location. It was subsequently bought by another family who recently passed away and is now back to J’s under a different ownership. The food is excellent and quite affordable. The easiest comparison would be to In N Out burger, but it is definitely unique in its own ways and comparisons don’t sum up the unique flavors and items. The burgers in my opinion are better tasting with more flavo, and that’s coming from a California native. The fries are great and they have several ice cream products. Considering your options in Morgan, this is probably the best of the few available places to eat.
