On a cross country trip my sister and I stopped for gas, the cashier Sheila wouldn’t even let me finish my question before she cut me off with an answer no. Then she belittled me by giving a sarcastic«woooow» when we decided on cheaper gas than premium causing her to item void the previous gas item… by far the most rude person we have interacted with since leaving Orlando!

If you’re heading from Charlotte to the west(mayhaps Asheville for the weekend) then this is a decent stop. It’s conveniently located right off I-40(pretty sure it’s exit 105) and like .1 mile to the right. The gas station is huge so it can handle quite a few cars at the pump. When you’re all set pumping gas head inside to buy all the supplies you need, and to «drop off» anything you have to. Yeah, I’m talking restrooms here. The restrooms are located right inside the bright, clean gas station, and they are surprisingly as clean as the sales floor. Nothing is worse than having to take care of business in a dark and dirty bathroom, but this one has none of that going on. The cleanliness and convenience of this gas station give it a five star rating… can’t really ask for much else.

Good gas station off I-40 as you’re making your way through the western North Carolina mountains. Well covered from the elements with easy pumps and a good selection of the sort of stuff you want for the road — sugar and caffeine. Yay.
