Mainstage Morgantown

I attended several shows here last semester and it’s an awesome, up and coming venue that books shows for any musical preference. Whether you’re a member of the community looking to mix up your normal night out, or a college student looking for a new place to party with your friends, Mainstage gives Morgantown a place to showcase a variety of musical talent.
The bar staff is top notch, working non-​stop every show. The beer selection provides everything from lager to IPA, and there are 2 bars inside to keep the service quick and convenient. However, the liquor selection is somewhat limited, depending on your tastes.
The staff is attentive and polite, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. The thing that stands out the most is that Tim (owner) has introduced himself to me every time I’ve come in, and is always welcoming people at the door for every show.

I love this venue, Mainstage Morgantown is the first of its kind in town, educating music to all genres. The location is not bad and leaves you with a up close and personal feel to the artists. The staff is great, they make sure that everyone is safe and is always around if you need help for good measure.
The bartenders are a mix of guys and girls and they are efficient, with an occasional beer bar. The wait for a drink is never long and I love that they are strict with IDs and making sure everyone is a priority. You want to feel safe.
Mainstage Morgantown definitely sets that standard of bringing something different for the students and the locals to do downtown.
I love the atmosphere and I love what it brings, and I cannot wait to see more.

This used to be chicken bones. The staff at this establishment are very helpful but they will have a very predominate presence during your visit. I am not comfortable with they guards watch me while I’m partying. I just don’t like it. The music and beer are awesome. It’s just feels like a bar that wanted to have a big stage persona but leaves you feeling like your on big brother. I love would only go to this bar of you follow all the rules to have a great time.
