I got the buttermilk chicken sandwich and it was like biting into a tough steak. Gross!!!

This is by far THE fanciest McDs that I think I have ever been too, and it is located right off of the Pennsylvania Turnpike so the location for me was convenient. When you arrive, you’ll have to do a double take to make sure you are indeed at a McDs. The outside is aesthetically pleasing. The landscaping is nice, made up mostly of rocks. The outside dining seating is really nice made up of some tables, chairs and some modern planters with colorful plants. Inside has been overhauled in a big way, it just looks too fancy for the chain but in a good way. The tables and chairs are all really nice, and in the middle of the place they even have gaming consoles built in to the island, with pleather benches for you to sit. I am not sure if the consoles are just for games or if you can order menu items, as I just ordered from the counter. They have these really cool ketchup dispensers, not your typical pump. These are pull handles, like you would see on a tea or lemonade dispenser. The employees were nice, and the food… is just typical McDs, nothing fancy about that, despite the fancy interior/exterior. They have a west coast version of a mini meal, only theirs don’t come with a drink. I ordered the crispy chicken and fries, then added a coke which comes out to what I would’ve paid in CA. I think they should offer the drink with the meal, but whatever. The entire place was clean, even the restrooms. I am not a fan of McDs and only stopped here on my vacation cause it was absolutely necessary and one of the few places opened at that hour and there is a place to walk your pets.

Ordering by the way of drive thur. The french fries was fresh and hot just the way I love them. The lady at the window was very friendly.

Most of their food is ok and they are trying to be a little healthier but their chicken and ranch wrap was horrible! Too much ranch and soggy cucumbers, very messy.

I just went to this McDonald’s and made my order very clear that I wanted a McChicken but of corse that is very difficult for some kids and a 14 year old manager to complete. I asked for just a PLAIN McChicken with nothing on it. After I got it I looked at it and it had Lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise on it!

I think this McDonald’s is average as far as the fast food chain goes. It is conveniently near the Morgantown PA Turnpike exit, although I probably would not take that exit just for this since there are potentially better choices farther along the Turnpike. One weird thing I’d like to point out though is this restaurant makes it look like there are power outlets at nearly every table but I found that most of those power outlets are fake. Of the two power outlets that weren’t fake, only one was turned on. I’m not sure why they would do that. Although they are not obligated to provide power for recharging phones, etc, this looks questionable to me.

Because of it’s location at the intersection of 5 major roads, this McDonalds can suck and still exist. Even when it’s relatively empty there is still a wait and during your wait its not unusual for people to be returning from their tables and the drive thru with incorrect orders. Additionally, the employees are ugly. I know, I know, that’s a shallow and mean thing to say. And it’s true. The quality of the food is what it is. And it looks clean enough from the outside. But they take forever and its often wrong. And it will continue to prosper. Take note of the Burger King thats been out of business and vacant for over a year now up on rt 23. I mean, a Burger King at the intersection of rt 10, rt 23, rt 322, 176 and the FREAKINGPATPK and they go out of business? Hey, its Morgantown Pa. Mc Donalds wont go out of business without my occasional order but nonetheless do yourself a favor and dont bother.

Sure, this is a Mickey-Dees and someone shouldn’t go into it expecting much. However, the very least I expected them to be able to get my orders right and for the staff to not be ridiculously inept. We were in the area for a show for a few days and stopped in at least once each day. Each one of those days the staff couldn’t get something in the order right, each day the staff were either inept or rude, and each day it was different staff. To anyone going to this place for a quick bite: check your orders before you leave.
