This criminal business cannot possibly afford anymore lawsuits.
I made one of the worst business decisions of my life one afternoon and what was supposed to be a sweet gesture of appreciation for my folks turned into one the biggest nightmares ever. I took my parents historic couch/​love seat to be reupholstered in May of 2011. The idea was that when complete, I would surprise them in time for their 25^th anneversary. The owner of this establishment insisted I paid upfront. I did. He said it would take approximately two weeks. This was okay with me. As time approached, I thought it was kind of odd that he did not call me to update me or arrange a pickup time. Then I started getting aweful reviews of the place from other people. I called to make sure he would be done with the pieces on time — no answer. I began to become very nervous. On the day of the anneversary — I got no answer. I decided to go to the store. The furniture was not even touched and there the owner was — completely unapologetic — he blamed everyone but him. I was upset. He refused to refund me. One month turned into one year! I threatened him with a lawsuit. He insisted he would have it done — it was finally done and the work was garbage. He is nothing more than a liar and will steal your money — he has a horrible reputation in town.
All you have to do is look all over the internet and you will never see a positive review. Everyone has had the same experience. He will make any excuse too and give you some far-​fetched sob story but be assured he is nothing but a liar. He doesn’t even deserve one star.
