Nice Ahi Tuna and the sweet potato Fry’s are amazing. Will return, The pricing is reasonable for what you are ordering. Only four stars due to them being out of a few things that I did want to try.

Really lovely place with nice atmosphere, fireplace on the deck. But the food is not terrible but disappointing. For lunch I had the roasted beet salad which was the classic recipe of beets, greens, goat cheese, hazelnuts, vinaigrette. The salad was huge but the beets were barely cooked. Raw beets can be tasty, but not in giant chunks that are hard to chew. Waitstaff was also not the greatest, friendly but missed an item in our order. Also the menu is definitely not vegetarian friendly unless you want a salad.

I really enjoyed this place, they have a fire place and firepit. The food was really good, and I would describe the atmosphere as cozy, romantic, and classy.

They had clean table ware and cloth napkins! Our server Josh was very attentive. The Ruben sandwich was great and also the steak fries. The chicken salad and spinach salad were good. It is roomy facility and nice décor. Got the same meal and it was very good. Rachel was a very attentive waitress.

After hearing it was under new ownership, a friend and I decided to check it out. Our food was amazing. So good that we asked our waiter to tell the cooks how much we enjoyed it. We shared the spinach and artichoke dip, I had the Philly cheese steak and my friend had the Reuben. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and the staff is very friendly. We will be back for sure.

I have been going to Yesterdays for years and found it to be one of my favorite places. However, in recent months, the menu has been completely replaced… I think it must be under new management. They closed for a few weeks back in the Summer and reopened with this new system. The quality is nothing what it used to be. I have given it a few tries under the new system and it has struck out every time. Its amazing how it has completely gone down hill in EVERY respect: food, drinks, service, atmosphere, and price… it’s very disappointing. I am hopeful that they would go back to what worked… if not, they wont be seeing me there. I recommend that you avoid Yesterday’s under its new system… for its high cost, it is a huge disappointment. In making your decision, go with the reviews that have been posted since July, 2015 which reflects the new system.

Hire more people. Your servers cannot keep up with the business demands. Drinks empty. Need refilling. Get a full time bartender. Why is the manager waiting tables? Seriously. Get it together. ASAP. Like yesterday soon.

Yesterday’s changed their menu and it is awful. They took away all their fresh salads and tasty salmon dishes. I tried their lettuce pork wraps and the«pork» was left over chopped gristle and bone. My husband got their spicy clam pasta and the«clams» were canned and arguably not clams as they were square. They get one star because the beer was cold. Save yourself the trip, Yesterday’s is a waste.

Under new ownership. The interior is lovely, and the staff friendly. Our meals were amazing. The smoke burger was huge, and done just right(medium, as ordered). The blackened chicken penne was wonderful. I think the local Amish chicken makes a difference. Yum! If you haven’t been here before, or if it’s been a while, do yourself(and your taste buds) a favor … EATHERE! There wasn’t a dish the came our of the kitchen that didn’t look and smell enticing.

Typical American cuisine… poor executed and uninspiring. The interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated and boasts a unique covered/screened-in indoor/outdoor sitting area showcasing a wonderful fireplace. The menu however is lacking in excitement and flavor. Everything they serve here is pretty average… and a little pricey for bland and boring. I used to stop by regular to order the steak fries but was disappointed to find that over the years the portion sizes have gotten smaller and smaller. The carrot cake serving is huge tho and could be easily shared by 2 people. This place really needs to try harder!

My two friends and I arrived at Yesterday’s on a Thursday around 2:00 pm. We were the only customers so we picked at table near the fireplace which was nice and cozy. Our waitress was very prompt at first but was practically non existent for the remainder of our lunch. There had been only two other tables that had been seated after us. It took her forever to return to get our food order and by that time it was 2:30 pm. The table that came in after us received their food before us. When we asked about how much longer it would be on our food, our waitress said that since we ordered well done burgers it takes longer to cook.(I personally have worked in a restaurant and know that it doesnt take 30 – 45 mintues to cook burgers, especially since our food was the only food being prepared at the time.) When our food finally did come out, the preparation was decent. My two friends who ordered burgers had a huge lunch display. My caprese panini on the other hand was lacking in comparison, not to mention it was luke warm. The flavor of the food was great which is why this restaurant gets 3 stars. By the time we were finished with lunch and left it was going on 4 pm. For being one of three tables in the restaurant over the 2 hour time span, that is RIDICULOUS! When we left, the young lady behind the bar was taking selfies on her phone and didnt even try to hide the fact. She spoke to us and continued looking into her phone camera. I am hoping that this was just one bad instance because I do believe this place could have potential. I may give this place another shot but am reluctant at this point.

I’d probably go with more like a 3.5 star for this place. The almond crusted chicken with Parmesan risotto is delicious. However, I was craving a steak one night and thought that their almost thirty dollar strip steak must be good because of the price. It lacks flavor, juice, and is a little tough(I ordered it medium). Not like the quality you’d get at a higher end(non-chain) steakhouse for the same price. It’s an okay steak, just not worth what it is priced. The wine and beer selections are great though!

A solid«ok.» That said, I would go elsewhere. I do believe that Yesterday’s is locally owned, which is usually a giant plus with me, but it’s as though they just copied TGIF’s/Applebees/etc., stole a few items off of each menu, tossed it into a decent looking restaurant, and opened up shop. There is absolutely nothing distinctive about the place. The food is unoriginal and average at best. The service is the same. Not particularly bad, not particularly good. They seem to want to be an upscale restaurant, but neither the food or the service is great. With the ample selection of very amazing and unique restaurants in Morgantown, you could do so much better. I won’t say don’t eat at Yesterday’s, and if you do you won’t enjoy your meal, but I would recommend a dozen or more other restaurants for a first time experience over this, or frequent visits over this. That said, I’ve eaten here twice. Once with the family. Once with my best friend who wanted to try it. Neither of my dining companions from either visit has ever said«hey, let’s go back to Yesterdays.» And we eat in Morgantown frequently. Your mileage may vary. Or maybe not. Cheers.

So this restaurant serves up sub par food for a generous price. Portions are okay, and food is pre packaged and is warmed and mixed together to serve. I have heard good things about the soups and grilled chicken sandwich. The restaurant seems to be a clean, with a very classy nice ambience, which is what you are paying for. They have a bar with a good selection of Drinks and brews. Not a bad lunch/dinner spot. But again there are places I recommend more in morgantown that will knock your socks off for the price.

Passing through Morgantown on the last night of our vacation and wanted a nice meal to finish the week right. Yesterday’s was first in the list of local restaurants on Unilocal and now I know why. All the positive reviews we read are completely accurate! From the outside it looks like an average chain sports bar but this local, one off restaurant is so much more. The service language used is way above the décor but absolutely fitting for the food they serve. We started with the Meatball appetizer. Hand rolled meatballs perfectly seasoned with marinara that absolutely rocked. The only thing that would make it perfect is a few slices of italian bread so we could sop up the remaining sauce. It was almost depressing leaving it in dish. For entrees; Pork Medalions over Parmesan Risotto and Sauteed Spinach for me, Chicken Tortellini in Alfredo Sauce for my wife and Shrimp/Linguine Diablo for my daughter. All were fantastic! To top it off we shared the chocolate cake ala mode. Plenty for all three of us and delicious. If you are from the Morgantown area this should become a regular stop for you. If you are passing through and only have time for one restaurant, this one is it. I for one will plan future trips through Morgantown just to be able to eat here.

I really enjoyed my solo lunch here before a doctor’s appointment at WVU. Caprese panini was lovely, with just the right amount of dressing. Salad was nice and fresh and tasty. Service was quick as first, but it took time to get my change when I was finished. Price might be considered a bit high for just a sandwich and side salad, but it wasn’t crazy. Nice atmosphere and comfortable surroundings. I recommend it!

Delivery guy was on time, food was lukewarm and tasted«okay». I had chicken quesadillas and a piece of chocolate cake. The cake was poorer in quality than an average box mix, but the portion was large. The vanilla ice cream with the cake was a nice touch and the best part of the meal. I would eat here again in a pinch, but this definitely wouldn’t be a go-to spot.

Yesterday’s is strange and surprising. It manages to strike an almost perfect balance between unassuming bar and upscale restaurant, and as such, has a notably diverse clientele. On any given evening, men in suits, families with untamed toddlers, and college students can be seen grabbing a bite in the dining room, bar, or patio area — the latter complete with televisions and a fireplace. I ordered the pork tenderloin medallions with risotto and spinach, dressed in a delicious cream sauce. All but one medallion were cooked perfectly and though the one piece was overcooked, it didn’t stop me from eating it. Their draft list is good, their wine selection a little narrow and overpriced. Overall, however, the service and food is really high quality. From the outside looking in, it might look like one of Morgantown’s many sports bars. But in terms of menu, service, and atmosphere, Yesterday’s is quite a bit more. It really seems a shame that in an area like Morgantown — where good dinner places are few and far between — that Yesterday’s doesn’t have a higher rating. I’m sure at peak hours, this place can get a little slowed down, and no restaurant with any kind of history is free of its mistakes. But Yesterday’s has one of the most appealing and creative menu in town, not to mention a really great atmosphere for an evening out.

On a recent roadtrip to the Midwest, we decided to stop at Yesterday’s Bar and Grill for lunch as we passed through West Virginia. We were quite pleased with both the quality of the food and friendliness of the service. The prices are reasonable and there are quite a few options on the menu. I ordered the Hickory burger, which came with Apple Wood Smoked Bacon, Cheddar Cheese, Honey BBQ sauce Served with Side Lettuce, Tomato, and Red Onion on a toasted bun. It was quite delicious and done exactly as I like my burgers. It came with delicious, crispy wedge fries and coleslaw. Some other cool things about this place: the fire grill in the middle of the patio area, the spacious indoor seating, and the big parking lot! Very convenient for tourists like us. And it was here that I learned about West Virginia’s state motto: «Montani semper liberi» — «Mountaineers are always free.» I highly recommend this place to those who are passing through or staying in Morgantown, WV!

We stopped at Yesterday’s because it was recommended by the desk clerk at our hotel. We were in town for one night and wanted a cocktail and something to eat. We were not disappointed! Our waitress, Constance, was awesome. She made some great recommendations and gave us a warm welcome. The restaurant is beautiful and the entire staff was friendly. Our meals were delicious! We had appetizers, pizzas and sandwiches and all were great. Yesterday’s Bar and Grill is definitely recommended by my family.
