She will take your deposit in the form of cash only and will not accept any checks. She will not give you a receipt either. Then she will tell you that she needs a week to clean the place. Then you go back to move in and you cannot move in because the place is too filthy. So you ask her if she is going to clean the apartment or not and then she goes off on you in a psychotic way, making you think that she is a total psycho. So then you ask for your deposit back because she screamed at you and you are at this point doubting her sanity and doubting if you will have any peace of mind if you move into her casita. So she refuses to give you your money back, which is $ 250 and that is a lot of money for a UNM student! So there you are without a receipt, so you cannot take her to court anyway because it costs $ 77 to file and $ 40 to serve her with papers, but then there is the problem of not having a receipt.
She is running a SCAM by using her Casita, so you had better not go there and give her your money or you will lose it. Thanks for listening!
