First let’s discuss the reception staff. They have an air of indifference, and condescension. The aloof greeting one receives is cool enough to give you a cold. Much improvement is needed here. For the most part the MA’s are awesome. Save one, who shall remain nameless– time will expose her for her unprofessionalism, and rude treatment toward the patients. These folks usually self weed in a matter of time. I am patiently waiting and watching. Now to the doctors. I am sure most of us have a doctor we are comfortable with, and feel we are well cared for. In this practice, I know of two who are very dedicated to the well being of their patients. Dr Mikal Smoker is amazing. She is never short on time, actually listens to her patients and respects the fact that they know their bodies better than anyone else. She is professional and personable. She provides details and makes sure her patient understands not only what is going on, but what is the cause, and how the treatment works. This doctor is hands down the best physician I have ever seen, I can only hope time, wear and tear doesn’t diminish her quality of care. Dr Katherine Kraft is amazing. Again, never short on time, respects her patients and actually listens to them. She is unassuming and waits for pertinent tests and exams before she decides what the patients needs are. She too is professional and personable. Another of my favorites. Please note this post is not intended to take away from the other docs, it is simply to identify the cream of the crop and rate them. The business gets a three because of the other issues mentioned. Their billing practices are horrible at best. If you are seen in June, you can bet you will not be billed till Feb the following year– yes it is that bad.
