Holloween ripoff. $ 12 to get in even for toddlers. Zero staff helping and supervising. Not worth the trip. Don’t know about in the summer but in the fall I would stay away. Much better places to visit on the east end.

We go to Hank’s at least once a week to stock up. We stick to the local in-season produce(which is fantastic) and also make sure to grab local eggs and milk. I also buy plants for my vegetable and herb gardens here. They grow fantastically well and taste delicious! They are reasonably priced and have what you want!

I’ve been coming to Hank’s in the summer for years now. Prices are reasonable and they always have a great selection of produce.

As far as farm stands go, Hank’s Farm Stand is a solid A-. They’ve got your standard tomatoes and cukes, onions, three varieties of beans(flat beans, wax beans and green beans– who knew there were so many?), etc, but they also have«homemade» pies in a half dozen or so varieties, farm fresh chicken eggs, catapano goat cheese, crescent farm duck and a few other baked goods(score!). The fresh chicken eggs are a little steep($ 5.99 /dozen), which sad to say, seems to be the new going rate in the area. I love the idea of being able to grab a locally made pie on the run. I hope they live up to my expectations! Girl working the counter is very sweet, there’s a «money for college» tip jar on the counter. Makes you feel like this really is the family business you are directly supporting with your patronage.
