I can not write this review based on the food because we never were served. We were seated fast with the peanuts. We were sitting there for 15 minutes never once were we asked if we wanted something to drink or asked what we wanted to eat. Finally my husband asked if someone can serve us and still no one came to serve us. We got up to leave and one of the servers said it is not her table but she will serve us. We were already over it and went to the Mexican restaurant across the parking lot.

Had 6 oz. Lunch sirloin with okra and both were Phenomenal! Just what I needed. Steak seasoned so well and okra as well-versed crispy like I like. Great atmosphere and awesome customer service. A+++!!

Four stars for the food — one star deducted for service issues. We were traveling and wanted to spend the night in Morrillton so we could go to the car museum the next day. Both in the mood for a good dinner and Colton’s seemed to be the only choice available. We found it, got in and we were seated relatively quickly in a little enclave of only four tables. And we waited… and waited… and waited. The third time the waitress for the next table(behind us) passed to leave the area, I stopped her and said«if you pass this table again without waiting on us, we are leaving.» By that time we had been sitting there for nearly 15 minutes. She just fell all over herself apologizing and took our orders, but reported our complaint to the hostess and to the manager. It seemed that for some strange reason, our table didn’t have an assigned server that night. It didn’t make sense to me that they may have had three different servers for a four-table«room», but that was the story we got. I didn’t understand how the server could have passed our table five times and not noticed that we had not even gotten beverages, and that the menus were still on the table in front of us. Our dinners came — we both ordered chopped steaks with different sides, and the chopped steaks were perfection. My side of fried okra was good, my salad was good, and the yeast rolls were tempting enough so that I broke my diet and sent my blood sugar soaring. Hubby was pleased also with his dinner. And, when the check came, the manager had comped one of our dinners. I thought that was a nice thing for him to do – he had even come back to the table to make sure all was well. Bottom line: this was my second time at a Colton’s, and I have to say that they do their steaks well. Maybe they should do something about their scheduling policies and table assignments with their wait staff.
