One of the best fabric stores around! This place has a terrific selection and even sells sewing machines. Great classes and very informative!

I’ve come here several times with my wife. The owner is a great guy and there are chairs to hang out in. On New Year’s Day we bought a new sewing machine cabinet storage system for my wife’s sewing room. It did not fit in our car. The owner lent us his car to bring it home. This was tremendous but unfortunately I broke two wheels and a piece of one side getting it up to our condo. My wife was crying. I mentioned it to the owner when I returned his car and he immediately gave me two new wheels. Then he showed me the diagram of the system we had bought and ordered a replacement piece. I just went and picked up the piece, no charge. I may not know much about fabrics and quilting but I know a great guy with tremendous customer service when I see it. And yes, my wife is all happy again.

I have never wanted to live in Morris except when I visit The Fabric Center, it’s such a friendly store with all kinds of diverse fabrics and merchandise for sale. My girlfriend and I braved the construction on Rte 80 and came west for the day. I bought my second Horn chair — I bought one two years ago for my sewing room and today I got one for in front of my computer. No, I am not sitting on it because they had to order it but they are shipping it right to my house so I don’t have to drive all that way. And they were super cheerful about it. I also got some lucious pink and brown fabric and thread. On the way out, we spotted a table runner which we liked and had not bought any fabric to make. I asked if there was a pattern and the woman ran to the back room and made us both copies! Now that’s customer service. I know most of you do not quilt as your hobby and yes, I do feel sorry for you. But for those lucky individuals who do, make the drive to Morris. You can stitch me a little something to thank me for this recommendation later. Happy sewing but go when it’s not rush hour cause 80 can be a pain!
