Golden Dragon Buffet

Ate there with three generations of family and everyone enjoyed it. Excellent variety of food.

Fast, efficient service from the friendly staff. Nice selection of Chinese, American, and Japanese foods. Seafood, wings, sushi, fruit, all kinds of fried items and various yummy desserts. Largest and freshest oriental buffet in the area. Fairly clean. Never had tummy trouble… well I have eaten a little too much but learned my lesson and now I be sure to moderate my intake. Lol.
A family atmosphere, lots of kids but never a problem. Can get busy but there are lots of tables and I never had to wait. Service remains consistent even when busy. The restaurant has been in this spot for many years.
If you like the place and go there often, Ask for a punch card (buy xx meals get one free).

Greeter was very friendly. The food was hot and yummy. They have hot wings on the bar and they are very good. Also a good sign when a restaurant is packed and it wasn’t even lunch or dinner. We went mid day. To top it all off we got a dollar off coupon from a local circular. Can’t beat that with a stick.

We went out of our way (12 miles) to eat at the Golden Dragon. We have eaten here multiple times in the past years, and have been very satisfied with the food. I’m sorry to say, this visit was poor to bad. First, the food on the bar was not to a safe temperature. Some pieces of chicken, and mushrooms were cold in the middle. This couldn’t be safe. Maybe they were left over from the day before? Multiple dishes were cold.
We resorted to the hibachi grill in order to get warm food. Sadly, the hibachi cook badly over cooked our food. The beef was like leather. I asked for Mongolian sauce on my hibachi food, but it ended up dry and tasteless.
I hope this was a one time mess for the Golden Dragon, because I really used to enjoy their food when in the Morristown area.

Had a very good meal here, everything was the proper temperature and the food items were kept very fresh. Typical Chinese buffet items but also some unusual items like fried plantains. Well lit dining room, standard tables and dome booths, probably used to be a golden corral before it became the golden dragon.

Food was hot, and flavorful. Did not keep the buffet stocked. Place was full of children and the parents would not control them.

Great food, one of the best buffets in the area. Large selection, free ice cream
