I really enjoyed playing this course, despite a sneaky branch and junk filled hole that ate my disc. My bad, I picked the wrong day to wear barefoot style shoes. If I was a better player I would not have ended up in the Great Pit of Carkoon. This is a well laid out course, and was recently part of the Tennessee State Disc Golf Championships. The people playing the course were varied. My favorite players were two elderly gentleman, whom took time to tell us about all the other courses in the area. There is a set of bleachers and a small playground next to the practice baskets. A paved running/biking path meanders through the course. I loved the accessibility of this well treed park. Folks in wheelchairs could play some of these holes, with modified tee locations, and a walking partner.
