Olde Forge East Apartments

I recently move out of this place after living there for 4 years. I cleaned this place spotless before I left and now I’m getting a letter from a collections agency stating that I owe them money for a dirty stove, sink and refrigerator. The stove was old and brown. Probably from the early 80s. Everything was scrubbed clean. Other charges include repainting the two of the rooms. A few months after I moved in I noticed I was getting huge cracks in the walls. I notified maintenance and they sent someone out. Their idea of fixing it was to throw a bunch of spackle on the wall. They never came back to sand it or paint it. The funny part is that they are now advertising that these apartments have been updated. I guess they are trying to get their past tenants to foot the bill of their so called updates. Don’t waste your time looking at these apartments management is shady at best and the apartments are sub par to others in the area. Forgot to mention they kept my security deposit as well.

Great location, looks outside, they have renovated most inside with new bath & kitchen. Had a really nice and spacious 1bd with a huge kitchen. At first, it was good, but my last experience before leaving was with a leaky roof that went unfixed after repeated calls. It went from a little leak to a steady stream of water when it rained, letting in a couple GALLONS during the last storm when I was there. Thankfully, moved far away and broke my lease… so I never got to see it fixed. But being liable for rent when things like that are not attended to did not leave a good taste in my mouth. Could not even get any information from them as to when it might be fixed.
