Peapack-Gladstone Bank

This is the most ridiculous bank, don’t everrrrrrrrrrrr contact them for mortgage or open any accounts with them. They have the most ridiculous staff, you can never get them on phone, Looks like the whole firm is on vacation forever. They have 0 interest in doing business. Plss never ever go to this ppl for any thing from my experience.

Has Peapack Gladstone lost their minds, I have had a personal checking account with Peapack Gladstone Bank for the past 10 years. Last month I got charged $ 10.00 on my FREE checking account. When I called they said they changed their policy on offering free checking accounts. No mater what level of relationship you have with the bank. If you don’t maintain $ 3000.00 in a checking account you get wacked. No over all relationship, no senior checking, no long term relationship, etc. I have different relationship levels with Chase, Santander, Sun National, PNC, BankAmerica, none of which charge a fee for my checking accounts. Most have larger foot prints area wise that Peapack Gladstone with branches across the US. Some even refund the fee that other Banks charge for using their ATM’s. Not a very bright policy for a small local bank. I am still waiting for the Vice President of Retail Banking Anthony Bilotta to return my call. Guess he really care about the banks customers.

The staff is the best AND they don’t seem to have a huge turn-​over — SO the person who took your money and deposited it last week? She’s still there the following week AND she REMEMBERS YOU!
Actually, no matter which branch you go to (Summit, Morristown, Far Hills, Bernardsville) They ALL remember you ;)
No one pushes you to open anything. As a matter of fact, they give stuff away. Daily pastries & delish coffee :)
I’ve had accounts here for over 10 years and only strayed once out of convenience (Chase) What a nightmare.
