I’ve been eating at this Pizza Inn location since I was a very young child. I’m 33 years old now. It used to be my very favorite pizza place. Every year on my birthday I wanted to go to Pizza Inn. I ate at Pizza Inn on the night I graduated high school, as well as on prom night. The pizza, service, and location were all top notch. Well, I’m sad to say that it has gone way downhill over the past several years. It started when the old owners passed away. The new owners remodeled the inside of the building and the changes were for the worse. In the old setup, each table was separated by dividers. You felt like you were dining with your friends or family and could enjoy conversation and your food. When they remodeled, they took out those dividers and moved the tables closer together. Now, you’re sharing a two sided bench seat with a stranger who is right behind you. Your conversation and your eating are not private in any way. The pizza is still good. The buffet has definitely declined in quality however. A few years ago they changed the salad bowls from regular sized to tiny bowls that you can barely fit some lettuce and one or two other items onto. We just used the pizza plates to get salads. But now, they have made those plates tiny as well. I ate there last week and could hardly get two slices of regular sized pizza onto a buffet plate. Pathetic! The salad bar has also gotten awful. The lettuce is sometimes brown and the other veggies are frequently slimy in texture and I will not eat them that way. Now the service. The majority of the waitresses seem to be teenage girls who don’t know how to be servers. When you’re seated, they will come to your table and will never introduce themselves. They start off by «What to drink?» They assume you are getting the buffet. No menu offered. They don’t ask if there is any request for the buffet. When they come back with your drink, they leave your check on the table. Good luck with getting most of them to even come back. Note: Rene is a great server and has been working there for 15+ years. She is the best. I’m sorry to say that this restaurant is just terrible now compared to what is once was. Your best bet is to order your pizza for carryout, because the buffet and the service and the dining room area is extremely disappointing.

I felt that the Pizza Inn was good price, but the quality of Pizzas offered on the Pizza Buffet were average at best. For the price of less than $ 7 per person a quick salad bar with some pasta is good, but if you are in the mood for Pizza, you might want to go to another place that does Pizza Buffets for lunch. I was not impressed.
