Meh. If your flying southwest, this is one of the only options for food(other than a salad place that only offers iceberg lettuce). The food is subpar at best. The only silver lining is the service. Our waitress was quick and accommodating.

If you are flying southwest this is going to be your only option besides Starbucks. I was scared to death by the reviews so I got nachos … Bad idea. My husband ordered the burger and it was better. Whoever said it was frozen probably just had bad luck that day. I would say the burger is the safest bet. Our service was fast enough but she was somewhat unskilled. At one point she held a tray of dirty dishes over my lap and brushed me with a dirty towel for an awkward amount of time. She held the same dirty towel throughout our stay which made me nervous for food safety. This airport has other restaurants but you have to walk across the street and go through airport security twice to get there so you are pretty much stuck if you are flying AirTran or southwest. Good luck!

Back in the airport, not much choice for food, figured I’d try again. Service is much better today. Ordered grilled Chix, delivery of the food to the table was as expected. Chix and fries delivered hot.

Ordered chops and dip must have been bottom of the bag chips. No chip larger than a Frito!

Typical airport bar. Philly cheesesteak was good, I have had the barbecue before it’s good too, for best service, I would sit at the bar.

Came here for a quick breakfast at the airport, but it wasn’t very appetizing. I had the Tavern Omelet: 3 egg omelet filled with grilled breakfast ham and sharp cheddar cheese, served with seasoned breakfast potatoes, $ 10.39. The meal comes out quick and is served on a plastic plate. The meal itself does not look impressive. The toast is too hard. The omelet is thin and lacks filling. It hardly looks like 3 eggs were used — more like one egg. The potatoes were alright but not great. Disappointed? Yes. Worth 10 bucks? Not at all.

I chose this place based on the time I had and the fact that it was right next to my gate. Not the best choice. It is your regular airport«restaurant.» I was really craving a burger so I got a bacon cheddar with fries. It was delivered pretty quick which was good but the patty tasted pre-made so it was not good at all. Also, they forgot my bacon but I think it was probably for the best. The fries were just so-so. I left unsatisfied. The service wasn’t bad but if I had the choice again, I would avoid this place.

Not the best option located in the airport. Everything is microwaved or poorly fried. Got the buffalo chicken tenders(microwaved) and pulled pork sandwich(microwaved). The chicken tenders were what you would expect from a TGIFridays box in the frozen section at Walgreens. The pulled pork was tough and had obviously been microwaved atop the bun as it had disintegrated from the moisture. Wouldn’t of been terrible with a grilled bun I suppose. There are much better options. Steer Clear.

Despite the bad reviews on here, we were pleasantly surprised. Drinks & service were great. Ordered philly cheesesteak — great for airport food & really good ranch dressing! Would eat here again preflight. Also considering lack of choice at this terminal, what else you got? Prices are steep though.

This establishment was poor in both food and service. There was a hostess and four servers sometimes five and a bartender for the tiny place, yet when I arrived the hostess was not seen so I sat in the center of the place amidst six other tables with patrons. Yet it took at least 10 minutes to be recognized and offered a menu. The menu has few to none vegetarian items. I settled with a nachos appetizer. It was something a teenager might make for themselves in a microwave. Over salty with little contents of beans, salsa or other ingredients — pretty sparse overall. Service was slow and inattentive. I shall avoid any future visit.

This place was so slow that we almost missed our flight. The food tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time before we got it. By the time it came to our table we had to get it boxed up to eat on the plane. The waiter seemed overwhelmed and apologized a lot for the wait. Go to the Cinnabon next door instead.

Surprisingly good breakfast considering it’s an airport bar. Eggs were real eggs — nice and fluffy. Potatoes were seasoned and tasty. Can’t comment on other meals, but definitely recommend for breakfast.

Ordered a buffalo chicken salad and about six bites in had a «I think I might puke, but in reality will just feel like crap for a few hours» feeling. Even by airport food standards, I’d pass.

Why bother? Okay, so I know it’s an airport. You have a captive audience and the sun is barely up. So too, it seems, is the kitchen staff and the occasional wait staff, but is that any reason to serve barely edible food-shaped plastic blocks? Toast does not mean dried out bread left out from the night before and then shown the heat lamp. The waitress actually ended up being better than her initial demeanor would lead you to believe. She deserves at least 3 stars for«okay» and her willingness to let me have a to-go cup for my tea; but the food is definitely a two-star«meh». The food for AJs is made at the greenleaf grill with whom it shares a wall. Save yourself the aggravation. Go to AJ’s for the bar and leave the food or bring it from home.

AJ’s Tavern is located in Terminal 1, near gate A25. With very limited options of grabbing non-fast food before our flight, AJ’s it was. Wait staff was extremely understaffed, and sit down table options were limited. 5 – 6 of us would cram at tables designed for 4, while others stood at high round top tables because there was too little space for high top chairs. Limited vegetarian options for my colleague, and the food was so-so. Ordering took forever, and the food certainly wasn’t as quick as you need it to be when dining in an airport. Give yourself an hour before your boarding time… or risk missing your flight!
