I really like their Oven Roasted Turkey Sandwich and get it every time I go. The ingredients are always fresh and come with veggies and seasonal fruit on the side. I like that the bread isn’t soaked in butter and the sandwich slathered with fatty sauces. I feel like it’s a good healthy alternative to many other dishes that may be served at a brunch restaurant. The portion is pretty decent for a sandwich, and I always leave full and satisfied. As for their crepes, I tried the California Style and Ham & Apple. I liked the Ham & Apple more, because I wasn’t a very big fan of the creamy pesto sauce found in the California Style. A lighter sauce would have suited it more in my opinion. I also tried their hot green tea latte, which doesn’t really have a strong matcha flavor/aroma, but that’s what I like about it. I wish to try the smoothie version of it next time I go. The reason I gave this place a 3-star rating is because the service is slow despite there not being many customers the three or four times I went. It is located in a relatively new retail center, so the restaurant, outside and inside, is clean.

It took 15 minutes to make a simple Egg and Cheese sandwich and I was the only customer.

Had to wait over 40min to be served breakfast after ordering at 8:30am one morning two weeks back. I had out of town business visitors and some of us had to leave without eating in order to not be late for a customer meeting! If a business is short staffed then they should indicate that while ordering or have the decency to put a sign on the door or just not open up that morning instead or having customers wait for more than 40 minutes for a basic breakfast order for 4 guests.

We are visiting from out of town and we were looking for a unique brunch spot. We picked the right place, and had an incredible and healthy meal. Service was friendly and the California Crêpe was the BOMB!

Found this gem on a day when I absolutely needed to drop everything and respond to some emails, fortunately, with my good luck, Unilocal brought me here.(With assistance from my GPS) salmon salad for lunch while my real reason was quick access to wifi and an almond milk latte. Plenty of seating both inside and out, clean and modern décor, very inviting. Good spot for me to come back to and get work done.

Ugh… not a good experience on this past Halloween morning. We should have waited another 20 minutes for The Brunch Box next door to open. The bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches that we ordered were lacking… taste. The breakfast potatoes were overly soft and seasonless. Even the coffee was lacking. Three strikes, buh-bye.

It was ok. Had the breakfast burrito and it was way to salty. Service was good, food was ok.

$ 5.31 for a styrofoam cup of burnt espresso and foam is that they call a cappuccino. I considered ordering a breakfast omelette as well but she called out $ 15 and I retracted that really quickly. There are no prices on the posted menu so no way to know that omelette was $ 10. I can’t speak much for the food but I really hoped a place with a coffee-pun name would have a more refined service for espresso drinks.

I hate it when people give(1) star reviews to places just because of bad service, so to not be a hypocrite this place gets(2). Everything was going smoothly. I had my coffee. I was about to eat my Mediterranean crêpe, but then the slow spiral of my caffeinated insanity took over. I started to say to myself«how long does a crêpe take?» Isn’t it just a super thin pancake that takes 2 seconds to cook??? The coffee started to mix with my bloodstream with no food to absorb the liquid energy. I glance at my watch, it’s been 20MIN?! I frantically glance around hoping to ask about my order, but I am alone… Helplessly alone. The whole place is empty. I don’t see another person for so long, I begin to wonder if I awoke from a blackout and the memory of my order was just a dream. I am reassured of my sanity by the receipt that shows I placed my order half an hour ago. Finally there are signs of life. I flag down one of the employees who has emerged from the kitchen and ask about my crêpe. She forgot my order… I ask for it to go. It comes out moments later with not even an apology. ATLEASTHOOKITUPWITHSOMEFREEBISCOTII!!! COMEON! The crêpe was good, the potatoes were salty… My suggestion, go to Brunch Box next door and steal DG’s wifi(password: dgcoffee123)

I have been to this location twice now and I definitely prefer the Stone Creek Village location in Cary over this one. Visit 1 — Came here with two co-workers and placed an order to go, I ordered the Mediterranean Crêpe with Home Fries. We waited over 20 minutes for our food and the place was not packed at all, way too long for a quick lunch in my opinion. It was a lot of food and the Crêpe was good but I would probably not get that particular one again; however, the home fries were delicious. Visit 2 — Ordered online, you can only do this at the Morrisville location, and was told that my meal would be ready in roughly 20 minutes. This time I opted for the Summer Salad. Description: candied pecans, mango, fresh seasonal berries, avocado, carrots, w/balsamic dressing. Reality: no mango, regular pecans that were not candied and the avocado did not taste fresh. It also came with a piece of bread that was stale and tough to eat. Biggest waste of $ 10. I will probably return to try a different Crêpe but it would not be my first choice for lunch in that area.

I have been here a few times and always go for their breakfast burrito filled with hash browns, choice of meat, zucchini, squash, and some other delicious ingredients I cannot remember with a side of refreshing shepherd’s salad. The presentation is wonderful and though the servings are a little small, the flavors & quality make up for it in my opinion. I’ve tried a few of my friend’s crepes from there and the ones I had were all relatively unique & savory. I’ve also had the americano and a dirty chai which was likewise thoroughly enjoyed. All in all, it’s a smidge overpriced here, but I’m always pleased with my meals and drinks and will keep coming for brunch! PS Speaking of, definitely choose this over neighboring Brunch Box. You will understand if you decline my advice.

I guess I got high expectation. Americano’s taste was OK, better than some of Starbucks’ one. Mocha pfrappes was so so. But clean facility !

I come here for iced green tea lattes. After I ordered the oven roasted turkey sandwhich, I was turned off for the food. I did not expect that it would be greasy, the bread was buttered and grilled like a grilled cheese. The mango chutney was excessive and too sweet. I will compliment that they did use very good quality turkey meat. I remember picking the turkey out, scrapping off the mango chutney and just eating the meat. I would not totally rule this place out though. I would like to go back and try the crepes for breakfast or brunch. Most of their crêpe menu seems to be more towards savory but they also have 3 – 4 sweet crêpe choices. Of the savory crepes, there is a unique selection including French, Mediterranean, seafood, et cetera. Back to the iced green tea latte. It is pretty good. It is very creamy and, since it is not hidden by crushed ice, you really get to enjoy the richness of it. They do not put a lot of ice and it is a nice change up from a green tea frappacino.

Went here because the other Daily Grind had such high ratings, but this one was on the way to my doc appt. I waited 40 minutes for my food and was late for my appt. By the time I got to eat it(after seeing the doc) I was so hungry anything would have tasted good. I got the Mediterranean crêpe with chicken — the flavors were decent(but again I was so hungry I was just swallowing and not tasting). I didn’t get any of the pesto sauce on top like in the pictures. The seasoned house fries were more hash browns and not seasoned well despite its title. I got a free zucchini bread for waiting for so long — so at least they were decent enough to realize they were in the wrong. But I think the girl gave me the wrong bread, and I got banana but bread, which is unfortunate since I am allergic to banana. I’m prob never going to come back here again. Tho if I’m in the area and want crepes, I may try the other location and see if things are better…

My husband and I went to the place next door and I decided I wanted a coffee so I decided to try Daily grind. The décor and feel is very nice. Very nice atmosphere. I ordered a caramel latte. It was very smooth but the taste was a bit off. Not my favorite latte but it’s a latte. I also ordered a giant chocolate chip cookie… Not impressed! They made it look so good but it’s was such a let down. It was hard and not good at all :(

I’ve ordered lunch to go here on several occasions and they will also deliver to my office(we are less than a mile away). They always deliver right on time or even early. Packaging of food is very good and they always pack utensils and extra napkins. One time I ordered a cookie as part of my lunch and when they delivered the guy told me it was still warm as it just came from the oven. My go to there is the grilled check Caesar salad. The chicken is really moist and tender. The only downside is the first few times I ordered it they would cover it in dressing(all to go salads should be packed with the dressing on the side). Finally I specified and it was served on the side. I recommend as a good lunch place but it does get slammed during the lunch rush.

This place is our regular Friday after-school stop. The food is excellent and the crepes are the best I have had in the area. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Our kids look forward to Friday’s, not because it is the start of the weekend, but because we go to Daily Grind. Crêpe Suzette and Sea Salt Caramel Latte are the bees knees.

What a cute little place… I thought it was just a coffee shop but was surprised to see a menu with sandwiches, crepes, and so much more! Everything I’ve tried so far has been extremely fresh. The crepes are great! I also love any place that’s not a diner and serves breakfast all day– YESPLEASE. The people who work here are the nicest and honestly, it was just a nice surprise to find this lovely café amidst so many chains in the area. They also have outdoor seating available which is nice. I think there’s another location on high house and davis dr. too… I have yet to check it out but I’m sure its just as fab!

I went to Daily Grind yesterday to sample their new burger and can I say… I was really impressed. First of all, my to-go order smelled wonderful on my drive back to work during my lunch break. The burger was simple yet perfect. The meat was of good quality and cooked to a perfect medium with just the right amount of seasoning. The cheese was gooey and the bun perfectly toasted. The burger came with pickles, onions, tomatoes and lettuce on the side. I of course put them all on my burger. The side was sort of like home fries which were very tasty as well. I am usually disappointed in the burgers I have tasted in the area because the meat always tastes like it comes from a pre-made, frozen package. If I wanted that crap I would go to McDonalds. Not here! This tasted like a freshly made patty! Sadly, I won’t be in the area as often after today, but when I am in Morrisville I am sure I will

Found this place after waiting an inordinate amount of time in the line next door, not being able to sit down, and feeling yucky after too much heavy food. In comparison, the Daily Grind has excellent fresh and lightweight lunch options, a cool and relaxing interior decorated in sky blues and crisp clean subway tile, a soothing playlist, plenty of seating, and a cute spacious patio for dining. The choice is clear! I was wooed in by their sidewalk chalkboard menu touting savory crepes and a variety of sandwiches. But what really won me over were their DELICIOUS crêpe lunch plates! Each item came with choice of side salad, home fries, potato salad or fruit cup. My ham and apple with Gruyère was delicious, melty, and filling. My friend’s Mediterranean crêpe had perfectly roasted veggies and roasted chicken, and she said it was excellent. My white chocolate mocha was VERY strong, but also quite tasty. But quite obviously, I’m no coffee connoisseur. I can’t wait to head back to this place, even for a casual study spot. They’ve got sturdy nice wooden tables with plenty of space to spread out, and complimentary wifi if you get the password. Check it out, especially for lunch!
