No service. Ignored. We were looking to buy a nice Hawaiian shirt, we rummaged through the racks looking for a specific size and color, and looked expectantly at the help. Unfortunately, the people working in the shop were engaged in a training session on the cash register and did not pay us any attention. So we left and made our Morro Bay tourist purchases at another store. Treating customers like this you won’t need all that cash register knowledge!

I really enjoyed this place. They had cool shirts, a great Dakine selection(and very fairly priced) and also carried Dolphin Shirt Co items. They were really nice, obviously proud of their store, and had lots of stuff that the other Morro Bay shops didn’t. Totally worth the stop. And I love my new Dakine bag:)

My wife and parents love this place. I don’t think they’ve ever set foot in here and didn’t walk out with something. I would’ve given this a four star review, but one this set this apart from other shops… My dog has huge separation anxiety when both«mom and dad» are not around. It’s even worse when she can see everyone and then someone disappears, as in going into a shop. She whimpers and whines and just becomes a bit of a pill. While standing outside, the wife was inside shopping, one of the guys who worked there came out, hearing my dog whine, and told me that she was allowed inside if she would behave. My dog found«mom» and was just so happy. Everyone wanted to pet her and she got rave reviews. The dog, not my wife. HA! Thank you Shark’s Grin for making my day a bit easier.

We wanted to find a store that some shot glasses and we wanted one with Morro Bay written on it, we were do the pier area to find such a place, and then we discovered Shark’s Grin, first the name of the shop really caught out attention, so we decided to go inside and check out the store and look. We discover they had alot of very fun and lovely gifts, shirts, sweaters, glasses, hat, beach wear and of course shot glasses. The people there are like family, they made us feel very welcomed in to their store and we had a great conversion with them then we found our way out and back on the road to out next stop.

I loved wandering through this store. They had a little bit of everything – snow globes, ornaments, other lil souvenir trinkets, postcards, tee shirts, and the hoodie that did it for me: a black CenCal sweatshirt with a gold star. I stopped dead in my tracks. All of the NorCal and SoCal gear just couldn’t compare with the pull of CenCal. I made myself leave the store without buying it, just because I couldn’t justify a fourth hoodie. But the lure of the Shark’s Grin pulled me back, much like one of those fish who swim towards the predator fish with the fake bait. I bought that sweatshirt and I never looked back. And you know what? It’s the most comfy sweatshirt I own. Damn straight. I’ll always consider myself CenCal at heart, especially when I’m overlooking the harbor in Morro Bay and gazing out at the gigantic rock. So gorgeous…
