I went with a group of 4 adults and one 3 year old. When we sat, they got our drink order. I went to the buffet and they was food that looked to be out for a minute, a little dry. My first plate of food, mac & cheese fried rice and California rolls. The mac was cold. I hate cold food. The rolls were rolls were decent. One of them, the avocado was brown inside. I also had salmon that didn’t look or taste like salmon. Maybe the labels were wrong. I wanted ice cream but the machine or the cones didn’t look very clean. Overall it wasn’t very satisfying. My daughter ate nothing. They charged us for a child plate anyways. Most children under 5 eat free at other restaurants but I guess they don’t do that here.

(-:(-:(-:@@!!!First Unilocal review ever!!!@@ :-):-):-) My boyfriend and I went to this place about a day or two ago(can’t remember because it was bad :-(…). I wasn’t impressed. It was near closing time(about 1 hour), and there wasn’t much to choose from(that part is understandable). But I had shrimp(not cleaned properly enough), a half an egg roll(which was cold), vegetable lo mein(greasy, but edible), stir fried broccoli & carrot(both were limp and soggy). And we had to order 2 clusters of crab legs(a whopping $ 6.99 lb, each and was missing two legs) it was a last resort. We had come from Fayetteville Pavilion area, and I don’t know why we didn’t just eat out there. I used Unilocal once we got to this side of town, to see if there were any buffet style asian restaurants and to my surprise, Clay co. doesn’t have any??? They have fast food type places but no real good buffet style places. You have to go toward Atlanta or Conyers/Covington areas to find good ones that serve fresh crab legs on the buffet. Won’t be returning!!! Save your money or go somewhere else. It was 7.99 per person which wasn’t bad if your looking for cheap!!! But that’s about it. We should have went to Panera’s.

I have eaten here a few times, but only because of the chef station. The food on the hot bar is not of my liking, unless you like Americanized Chinese. The chef station here is nice, they have quite a bit of proteins to choose from. Chicken, steak, pork and shrimp, and fresh vegetables. When I stop here, this is the only place that I choose food from, as you pick and choose what you want and the chef at the grill will cook it to order, which is nice. I don’t like seasonings, so here I can eat my food plain and I know exactly what is in it. The sushi here is okay as well, though it is just basic California and bagel rolls. If it was not for the chef station, I would not eat here. [Review #263](Twenty Second Review of 2015)

I just paid $ 9.37 for 3 glasses of Coke and about 4 bites of food on a Saturday at lunchtime. That is all. You have been warned. Of course, so was I. The End.

I’m here visiting from Texas and was in the area of Morrow. I noticed a lot of Asian buffets were closed that was my first sign there is a problem in this area. Should have went to Chick Fillet. First the steamed rice which is staple of Asian food was dry, hard, and I alerted the staff to please bring fresh rice out… well it is not served in a steamed rice cooker but a metal pan, the replacement rice I was able to knock on with the base of the serving spoon. The rest of the selections looked old, and withered. The hibachi grill cook was missing in action. Due to hunger pangs my son and I put down as much as possible. Even the fresh fruit tasted bland and looked dry likely from sitting out for a long time IDK. None the less, side effects were bubbly guts, both my son and I had headaches immediately after leaving, and the feeling of nausea. I would give a no star rating but wasn’t able too.

So i’d been here before and didn’t care much about its buffet(or any buffet for that matter), but a co-worker let me know about the little hibachi area in the corner. My review is based on the Hibachi section of the restaurant. We all went out to lunch today, and sure enough, there was a little hibachi area where you picked ingredients. I was pretty much sold at the sight of available veggies on hand(Green beans, onions, carrots, broccoli, baby corn, snow peas, mushrooms, peppers, zucchini, etc), and while I didn’t get any meat, they had a healthy supply of beef chunks, chicken, shrimp and pork. Before I forget, I should also mention the addition of noodles, white rice, eggs(still raw, in shell) and sprouts. The cool thing is before you hand your plate off, there’s a sauces station where you can ladle in a few cups hot sauce, teriyaki, olive oil with garlic, and a few more I forget at the moment. I especially enjoyed the chef’s attention to keeping orders apart. I’m allergic to shellfish and i’ve had troubles in the past with other hibachi shops like this slinging someone else’s shrimp in my food, but not this location, very impressed! The food itself and flavor is based primarily on the sauces you hand over to the chef, but the selections of food are all fresh, not mushy and definitely worth your $ 6.
