Advanced Dentistry

I chose this office for orthodontic treatment for my daughter, mainly due to the seemingly great office hours. I’ve heard horror stories about orthodontists being very inaccessible and since your child must be there very frequently for treatment, it is important that they have good hours. Unfortunately, this is one of those horror stories. The website gives office hours, but those hours are NOT the hours that the orthodontist keeps. This has been a disaster for us. The repeated taking a child out of school to go to the orthodontist, the lack of actual availability on a Saturday. The length of time to wait for an appt (think: your retainer is HERE! But you have to wait another week to have us put it in your mouth because the orthodontist is only here Tuesday and every other Friday!). Our most recent example of how they have failed us is this: Child’s wire retainer broke (just snapped in two when she went to place it in her mouth!); got a «temporary one» at the office which is a plastic thing molded to her teeth while a new wire one is made. That one breaks, simply splits in two. Flash forward, her THIRD plastic one shatters on impact when it slips 3 ft to the floor. Yet, she cannot come in a get her wire retainer which is sitting in the office waiting for her. Instead, we are told she can come in an get a new temporary plastic one that we will have to pay for. The solution to the lack of an orthodontist at this facility is to pay for another piece of garbage temporary retainer. If you are considering orthodontia for your child at Advanced Dentistry, think again.
*We have never missed an appointment and my daughter used her retainer properly. It needs to be removed to eat and replaced after which is why it was out of her mouth. I was there each time it broke and saw it happen. Shame on you for blaming me for your poor service.

A friend at work recommended Dr. Khan. Since my initial visit I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the practice. The staff and Dr. Khan amazing. Since I was young I didn’t enjoy having dental work done and for the first time I am not anxious or scared when I have to go back. Dr. Khan is patient knowledgable and extremely pleasant, making you feel very comfortable. I highly recommend the practice!!!

It took me a few disappointing dentist trips in the Morton Grove/​Skokie area to find this dentist office and happily stick with them! What a difference in quality they are — so thorough and everyone is nice. My favorite dentist happens to be moving, but I have no doubt they’re find a suitable replacement. Highly recommended.

Advanced Dentistry has been fantastic over the years, highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in the area. Their prices are extremely reasonable, they accept insurance, and their dentists have all been fantastic. As much as I hate going to the dentist I really don’t mind going here!
