I LOVE Dunkin’ Donuts. I secretly like it more than Starbucks for regular/iced coffee.(Starbucks is número uno for Fraps and blended beverages). My standard go-to is the medium iced-coffee with either hazelnut or caramel swirl(just enough sugar and cream). It’s my ideal drink– especially during«Happy Hour» when you can even get one for 1.00! Friend and I had a DD craving. Saw this store as the nearest DD. Time to describe my disappointment. 1) There was only ONE employee working on a Saturday afternoon. Granted she seemed very sweet and was super diligent in getting her orders, the entire process was slow and there was a bunch of people waiting in line. 2) The temperature in the store was HOT and not in a fun sexy way. It was warm like in a bread bakery(oven) and I was sweating and just wanted to get my coffee and leave. 3) Sad Drinks. My friend got a Coolata and it tasted like straight up sugar syrup. She ended up throwing it away. My standard iced coffee tasted watered down. Employee seemed confused as to why I disliked the taste until I politely requested a new cup(maybe it was a bad batch). The employee tried remediating my coffee issue but the second cup tasted just as watered-down. I ended up tossing my drink into the garbage after a few sips. I LOVEDD but I know I’m avoiding this location until they fix the flavor issue and the temperature issue, and perhaps hire another employee during high traffic times.

The huge plus about this Dunkin Donuts is that this place is open 24 hours. Unlike the other location further up on Dempster, this place has much less traffic. It’s best if you come early in the morning, as the fresh donuts are readily available then. Just like other DD, the more later in the day it gets, the more unfresh the donuts get. The sis and I came here one evening, and we were given a couple of extras, even though we only ordered two(I usually stick to the French Cruller or any of their ‘specialty’ ones). The staff here are super friendly! +open 24 hours +a bit of extras later at night +free parking

My how the neighborhood has changed. Across the street, about 25 years ago, my cousin and I were pulled over by the local police, and I mean all the local police as the first officer called two more units for back up having us exit the vehicle for a frightening search while covered by shotguns. We were suspicious supposedly because I was driving below the speed limit, but I think the real problem is that she was dressed in a sari and I was also wearing Sri Lankan traditional clothing(it was hot in summer). Flash forward to 2015, and this Dunkin’ Donuts is the most diverse little coffee shop I’ve ever been in. It’s tiny, just a handful of very close little tables and yet over two cups of coffee here I overheard a dozen different languages(I’m including the staff and people coming for carry out orders). Because the space is tight, it’s not ideal as a place to get work done, but for coffee and people watching, it’s the best. Oh, and the donoughts are pretty good too.

We ordered a small iced coffee, veggie egg white flat, and a cinnamon raisin bagel. They got our order wrong once, and the whole process took almost 30 minutes. When I asked about my order status I was told I had to be patient. If I wanted to spend this long on breakfast I wouldn’t go to DD. Also, it was well over 80 degrees in the store which probably contributed to my impatience.

This location has issues with customer service. I am a very patient person, and have given this location a couple of chances, but it still takes the prize as being the slowest DD ever. Every time you have to repeat your order twice since they are always counting money or having conversations with each other. Go to the drive thru on Dempster instead.

This is by far the WORST dunkin donuts I have ever been to. The staff is unfriendly and clueless. I remember one time asking what kind of berries are in the berry blast coolatta and they just stared at me like I was speaking another language. They had to go get the manager and even SHE couldn’t tell me. She had to break out the syrup bottle and read the label. Really? This is just one example of the incompetence I’ve experienced here. I have had several really bad experiences and you’d think I’d learn my lesson but, alas, I cannot avoid stopping for a good DD snack while I’m driving down Dempster on my way home. The final straw that prompted me to write this review is the experience I just had about 10 minutes ago. I ordered a breakfast meal with an iced tea(as I am allergic to coffee… I know, crazy right?) and was told they weren’t sure if I could get a drink besides coffee with the meal. They’d have to ring it up and see what happens. Again, really? Like I’m the ONLY person to ever order a breakfast meal without coffee? So it rang up fine and I received my meal. First, they forgot my hasbrowns. Then, they gave me a bag with 3… yes 3… little hasbrowns in it. I complained and asked for more. The douchebag gave me a lousy 3 more. So in total I got 6 little hashbrown coins. Then I went to eat my bagel sandwich and there was half a piece of bacon. That’s right folks… one half of a piece of bacon on a huge bagel. These are downright the CHEAPEST dunkin donut owners I have come across. I refuse to continue going here. I would rather go out of my way for my DD fix now. Not worth the money or my time!

WORSTCUPOFCOFFEE, EVER! I do like my Starbucks but I find most Dunkin coffee just as stout as a Starbucks. Not this place. I actually returned my first cup thinking I just got a bad batch, Nope. No difference with the 2nd. I actually left it I was so disgusted. Now when I say I like my Starbucks I only get it maybe once a month so its not like my tastebuds are wacked. McDonalds coffee is better. I’m sure it’s isolated and maybe they/we were having a bad day but maybe they’re chinzing back? BEWARE,

I just visited this Donkin Donuts few minutes ago with my family. While placing the order my daughter fell on the floor because the floor was wet. I asked the cashier present to please clean the floor as someone else might fall down. Instead of cleaning or apologizing, his response was that it will get wet again with people coming in. Talk about rude customer service. Instead of «America runs on Dunkin», this store’s moto is «America falls in this Dunkin».

If you plan to use any kind of coupon here, be sure to read the fine print first! You may be better off paying the menu price vs. using the coupon. I needed 50 munchkins to take to my son’s school for his birthday today. I gave the $ 3.99 for 25 munchkins coupon and asked for 2 boxes. The lady told me I would only get 1 at the coupon price and the other at full price. There was a line out the door behind me, so I agreed. I got my receipt and realized that I ended up paying $ 10.98 for 50 munchkins instead of the posted price of $ 7.99 for a box of 50. When I complained that they forgot to credit my coupon, she offered an insincere apology and suggested I take one or two donuts to make up for the difference. Only because of the growing line of impatient looking people, I agreed. I don’t know what the price of just one donut is, but I still feel like I got the short end of the stick.

Normally I don’t review chains unless there is something unusual about them. And its usually something negative. But that’s not the case with this Dunkin Donuts. I’ve had business meetings with someone who’s from the area. So we’re not doing power lunches at Gibsons or Mortons but thats the nature of business today: time and convenience. And it looks like we’re not the only ones. There is a lot of business transacted here with a polyglot of customers: Indian/Pakistani, Korean, Chinese, East European. And I’ve seen groups of business people at the bigger round tables passing around reports and taking notes. As for the coffee, food and service, no problems; everything is good at this Dunkin Donuts aka Dan’s Near Northwest Suburban Satellite Office.

Out of all the Dunkin Donuts I have ever been to(and believe me, I have tried almost all), this one is my favourite. It is huge, has a ToGo’s and a Baskin Robbins mixed in, and a drive thru. Parking is ample and the grounds are always well-manicured and sans garbage. The interior is nicely set up with a lot of tables and a lot of counter space. I usually use the drive-thru, however. The speaker system works well and aside from the occasional moron who orders $ 150 worth of assorted breakfast items, or the asshat who wants to pay all in pennies, the drive-thru is acceptably consistent. For some reason the coffee here tastes the best and the bagels are always soft and fresh. Why I cant get this same level of quality at other locations mystifies me. Ahh, well, I’m sure the owner appreciates my business!
