Great pool! Definitely waaay cleaner than Oakton Pool in Skokie. This place had a separate kiddie pool area and the main pool was divided into 3 sections: the main pool, diving boards area, and a slide. The main pool was very spacious and not overcrowded, so there was a lot of space to swim. Didn’t get a chance to go on the diving boards or slide. There were two diving boards and the slide was the traditional spiral slide. The only reason I’m not giving it a full five stars is because there wasn’t much to do. It was an enjoyable experience as I got to tan and lay out. I love that there were no trees blocking the sun, like some other places I’ve been to. They also had a speaker which played music. I also liked that the kids weren’t the screaming, running all over the place type so, it was definitely relaxing. The price was reasonable, my boyfriend and I paid $ 20 altogether. It was $ 10/person if you’re out of district, which we obviously were. I didn’t get a chance to see the in-district price but it’s less than $ 10. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I will be definitely coming back in the future. :)

As far as park district pools go, this was is great! Another of a million places I’ve passed. I got a groupon this summer for a 6 visit pass for $ 18, and since our local pool is $ 5/pp to get in, and we have a family of 5, I thought this was a deal… and it was! The pool is a great size, with diving boards and a water slide. There’s even a little kiddy pool, that’s partially covered for your baby/toddler to hang out in. We took the kids and spent a great 3 hours of fun time at this pool with no complaints… something to be said when there are 3 of them! We will absolutely get some time in this pool next summer! Great change of scenary and simple summer fun!

Though they haven’t put out their summer 2009 individual day pass rates, they do have their pool pass prices on their website. The Morton Grove Park District doesn’t necessarily have as great of a rap as the Skokie Park District does, but this is a really chill pool I almost feel guilty sharing about. I’m all about how out of the way this pool is. Even more so than the Devonshire Aquatic Center. There just seems to be calmer people that are gravitated to this spot. It’s not hard to find room to swim anywhere in the main pool. One last little tidbit is if you’re looking for the pool for the first time keep your eyes open on Dempster, the entrance seems like it’s hidden and it’s really easy to pass up.
