I had heard about this place from several friends, so I finally decided to give this place a go. I had the zinger burger and the peri peri wrap. Both are chicken dishes, and as someone who likes chicken, I enjoyed them both. However, they were nothing amazing. They were good, but just good. In other words, if you’re nearby this place, check it out. However, it’s not necessarily worth going out of your way for. Personally I liked the zinger burger(I had it spicy) more than the peri peri wrap. And although the broasted chicken in the zinger burger was good, the bun just didn’t complement it well and left a lot to be desired. The peri peri wrap had a lot of oil/water leaking from it and was just messy to eat. Both items had solid points, but seemed like they just weren’t composed well together.

Been here once and am going back soon. Coming back for the Zinger burger! The Zinger burger is like chick-fil-a, but they are bigger, spicier, and cooler. It’s a chicken fillet, that is seasoned in spices, battered, and fried fresh and juicy! You’ll taste a bit of heat from the spices, and the cole slaw cools it off and gives it a bit of a rich and tangy feel. Their fries are also very good, seasoned with a light coating. I’ll be back for the Zinger!

My cousin suggested this place would be good for Halal Burgers… we got zinger burger n peri peri meal which was really awesome. Apart from that we ordered chicken wings n they got with wrong sauce on it, as we ordered with Buffalo idk what kind of sauce was it… any how it was good though but my friend he didn’t liked and requested the staff to replace it with something else… thanks a lot, the guy he didn’t mind n replaced our order.

My kids chose Mr Broast over a burger place that I’ve been wanting to try and I didn’t really argue with their choice. This was our second time eating at this place and we loved what we’ve had again. Here is a breakdown of what we’ve had: GYROCHEESEBURGER MEAL-great flavors on both the gyros and the burger patty. The french fries were crunchy and seasoned perfectly. Definitely a must try if you love burgers(meal comes with fries and a drink-$ 8.99) GYROSPLATTER — you can choose either spicy or regular flavor. We got the spicy gyros and this is my favorite dish here. Delicious!(platter comes with a drink and side salad-$ 9.99) PERIPERIHALFCHICKENMEAL– seasoned well and has a great hot kick in it. The chicken was kind of small for a half chicken though(Meal comes with salad, rice, and a drink $ 14.99) So far, we’ve loved what we have tried from Mr. Broast, their fried chicken is crunchy, delicious and big pieces(we’ve had the chicken from our first visit at this place). The place has a lot of tables and is kept clean although it could use a little more lighting(maybe) or décor to make it more«uplifting»:)

Really good burgers! I like the Southwest burger! Really like the chicken wings as well and the different sauces they have. I do wish they had better fries. They are decent if you have them there but if you get them to go by the time you get home they are soft and soggy and has like an oil taste to it. The kulfi is really good as well!

The few times I have been there more than half of the time my order was incorrect. Finally, food is overpriced and oily.

This place is and always will be my GOTO place. The staff is very very friendly. And more importantly the chicken broast taste as fresh and as yummy as could be. I sometimes eat twice a day here. My family LOVES this place. I MOSTDEFENETLY would like to say I love their hours. I really love the philly steak sandwich, spicy zinger burger, and the chicken broast. On weekdays for lunch time they have meal specials.

Dirty tables, bad service. We order chicken biryani, half of was cold like it came out of fridge and other half was room temperature. It was like someone put it in a plate and next guy just picked it up and brought it out without checking it. I asked the waiter if he would heat it up. He took it back to kitchen and took so long that we were done with our food.

Happy that this place is 10 mins walking distance from me. Great customer service. Clean and spacious as well. Highly recommend the zinger burger and jalapeño poppers. Their periperi burger was pretty good too. The price is reasonable if you get the meal as it comes with a good amount of fries and drinks. Would come back for more.

ZABIHAHALAL — though i’m not sure if that’s really great news considering the food… We live close by here now and made a carry-out order for the Mr. Burger, 6pc chicken nuggets, Gyro Cheeseburger and Zinger burger. Everything came with fries and the fries were stale and cold — unacceptable. The S/O had the zinger and gyro burger and he liked them. He wasn’t blown over. just. ho-hum. The nuggets were dry, and cold, as well. Also, 6pcs for $ 7.99? Ridiculous, go to Al-Watan Grill in Skokie for your nuggets. The Mr. Burger is for meat-lovers — 2GINORMOUS patties. Problem is they’re dry, and have some odd seasoning/spice that gives off an Indian/Pakistani vibe. Some people might like that but i’m a traditionalist about everything. My Pakistani food cannot be Westernised… and my American food cannot be desi-fied… it’s not right! Anyhow… they have loads of other options, which i intend to try soon. I didn’t enjoy my meal as much as i had hoped. I’ll give this place another chance but i had really high hopes and they’ve been dashed. I miss you, Al-Watan. :( UPDATE: Tried their Philly cheesteak and Peri –peri chicken sandwich. Peri peri was AWESOME. Perfect burger. The Philly was great in terms of flavor. but it was served in panini-style bread. They should use sub rolls for it.

Had dinner with family after a long day. The last time I was here was 6 months ago. This plus still has impeccable service and great food. We tried a variety of food items and we’re not disappointed. As a parent I could not be more excited because the kids finished all their food. They were able to prepare some dishes mild and some spicy. I definitely recommend the peri peri chicken and the grilled pepper fish. We also had a few different flavored wings with a few different sauces. And don’t leave without some ice cream and chai. They also have two TVs where I was able to catch up on the days sports. This location also has the best décor. I know will definitely be back for more.

I was very surprised with the service I was given last night. They were pretty busy for being a weekday night. Our food was given in a timely manner, not a long wait at all. Tried the gyros for the first time and it was delicious, lots of flavor and not dry at all like Italian Express. Their biscuits are amazing as well!

This place used to be Shahi Nihari. When I found it became a halal fastfood joint I was a little upset, until I tried it. I got the signature zinger burger(spicy). Its a big crispy piece of chicken with cole slaw, and a spicy zesty dressing. It was amazing. The chicken was extra crispy, and the spice of the dressing with the cooling factor of the slaw makes an excellent sandwich, unlike anything I have ever had before. Its addicting, I want one right now thinking of it. The fries are not as crispy. its a little soggy but good soggy and has great flavor. If you like spicy gyros, they got them here as well. But one of the best things here is that they still serve some Indo/Pak food. Its not really displayed so I guess its on the«secret menu.» The frontier chicken, and chicken boti are both great values for around $ 10 for the amount they give you. Ps the naans are huge. Wish they had more options for that menu though. Overall great Fast food with a Indo/pak twist, and awesome for spicy food lovers.

Quite disappointed, I regret the whole experience. The unfortunate part is that I am easy to please! I’ll start with the good: Service: the lady at the front was very pleasant, my order was accurate and she kindly offered me a sample of the chai tea as they did not have coffee. Also, the chai was served at a great heat! And I will say the food was served hot too. The fries were also great, good thing I added those or I really would have felt as if I wasted my $ 10 The unfortunates: Quality: I ordered the gyro burger, the bread was so drenched that I ended up eating more than half of it without a bottom bun. The burger did not taste like meat, more like a meat substitute I was almost tempted to ask but didn’t know how to phrase it. The atmosphere: multiple fruit flies and a few larger flies, the ketchup bottles were very greasy, uncleaned and ripped up– point is, I wanted to add some for flavor on my tasteless burger but I refused to use this ketchup see picture. I would like to see this place succeed because I’ve heard great things, but must step it up. Got the extra star because the nice staff.

Had been wanting to try Mr. Broast for a good while and I finally got to go with my friend. The restaurant is very clean and spacious. The workers are friendly and are willing to answer any questions. I had the zinger burger and fries. While my friend had wings – the different wings were really confusing to me. So I’m not going to try to remember hahaha. The burger and fries weren’t too bad, however there was a taste in the burger or maybe the sauce that I want too particular of. My friend said she enjoyed her wings.

I would give it 3.5 stars if i could. Nice freshly made fried chicken. An alternative cause I get sick of the Popeye and KFC chicken. Just been here once. Was surprised they open until midnight, really late like 3am? People eat wings at 3am: D I also ordered an indian chicken rice dish., uh I didn’t like it. The chicken breast was dry. But anyway I like their fried chicken so it was fine.

I tried this place for the first time last Friday… and I went back again this following Thursday. The fact that I dined here twice within a week should signify that I really enjoyed this place. I came here with my big brother because we were in the area, it was halal, and it had great Unilocal reviews. When we walked in, I determined quickly that I liked the environment. It was very relaxing and had the ambience of a sporty quick eats restaurant. There were many people just sitting around enjoying their food while watching two big screen TVs. It was welcoming to say the least. The workers greeted with a smile. My bro and I both ordered the zinger burger and a 10-pc breaded buffalo wings to share. Of all the wings I’ve had in my life, these are definitely top 3 wings For sure. The crunch is so perfect and the flavor is so savory and delicious. I also had the chance to try the barbecue flavor — amazing as well. Not to mention, it’s almost like you get 20 pcs wings because its the entire wing. The seasoned fries were delightful too. The service is great here. It’s enough to make you feel welcomed and I like that a lot. It was genuine for sure. The prices are in range between affordable and average. It all depends on what you order. I highly recommend to everyone!

I decided to give them another chance, we got the gyros meal + onion rings. 1) No table service, you go to the counter and you order, you have to ask for water and they give you soda cans and not fountain drinks(not a big deal). Also, get your own utensils, napkins, ketchup etc. Good part is, you don’t have to tip(perfect for broke college students). 2) The gyros is average. Not anything to brag about. I asked to mark it extra spicy and it wasn’t even spicy. In other words, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get food from here. 3) The onion rings are really really good! The fries are good as well. 4) They have 2 TVs, one on each side so you can watch games if they have it playing. 5) Lots of seating, can bring parties of 10 – 15 easily(just call ahead to see how busy it is) 6) Did you know they are trying to open up an ice cream shop inside the restaurant? I think that’s a pretty cool idea. Just hope it works out! 7) Restrooms are clean!

We’ve been here four times and the items were ordered and tried are the following: Chicken Club sandwich on the secret menu from the old shahi nihari, Philly Cheese-steak panini and sandwich, fries and mango lassi were good. Do not order the mac n cheese, it was not good. People rave about the Zinger burger so will go back and to see if it matches the hype!
