Cuticle Cubicle

I never have gone to a nail salon where they try to turn you away if you don’t have an appointment. How annoying? And they really only do have 2 employees. I complained the first time that they barely cut my cuticles. The pedicure more was like a polish change.
Came for my last groupon visit and fist she picked a brown for my French pedicure then did a horrible job painting it. Sat me down for my gel manicure and the left saying five minutes. Been waiting for 20 at this point

I got the groupon for shellac mani pedi. I’m not sure i was in the same place as all the other reviewers, because I had a great experience. The only negative was that I had to make an appointment, which was kind of irritating. But once there I got royal treatment that lasted an hour. Foot massage, leg massage/​scrub, hand and arm massage, hot towel, and very neat and clean nail polish application. Shellac lasted for 3 weeks. This was the best and longest treatment I’ve ever gotten during a mani-​pedi.

Bought a Groupon for $ 39 for 3 mani-pedi’s. I thought that was a great deal until I went to use it and was told I had to make an appointment. Very annoying, but some merchants do this with Groupons, so I said ok fine and had to come back the next day. The service was meh, but I gave the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to perhaps it was because they were super busy (yes, there were only 2 technicians at the time). I went to try to book the second appointment and was asked if they could call me back because the boss was busy and only she could book the appointments. What? First of all, what nail salon requires an appointment? I thought perhaps it was because of the Groupon, but apparently not based on the other review. Second, why on earth would you tell a customer you’re too busy for their business? They weren’t aware I was using my Groupon so I found this extrenely unprofessional. Third, so only one person can book the appointment? How inefficient! In short, had I known it would be this difficult to book for only mediocre service to boot, I would have never bought the Groupon. As for the service I did get, she really didn’t clean up my cuticles very well (how ironic) and I would agree the place is a bit shabby. The massage function on the chairs didn’t work… it was cluttered looking with supplies in the waiting area. I was disappointed especially by the lack of massage chairs (what salon doesn’t have massage chairs?)
Do yourself a favor… don’t bother coming here. There are a gazillion other nail salons to choose from, so why settle for subpar service???

Appointment is required and there are only 2 nail techs. 1 tech was new and she did a horrible job on my mom’s shellac nails. She tried to fix it a couple times but the result was still terrible. My pedicure experience was alright… the tech didn’t really massage my legs. It’s a cute little place and has potential but the service was a little unprofessional. The techs’ attire should be more professional (they wore tank tops and very short shorts). The bathroom is a little dirty and out-​dated. I’ve had better service and my mom and I will not come back here again… although its only a 7-​minute drive from our house.

You have to have an appointment to go to this nail salon. The first time I went there was one employee and no customers. This should have been a sign! They wouldn’t take me because there was an appointment in an hour. That’s fine to me, so I set an appointment for the next day. I got a shellac manicure and a pedicure. I always like to get a design on my toes, but they didn’t know how to do designs. I should have known since the price for a design wasn’t posted anywhere. Good thing was, she knew it didnt look good and kept wiping it off and trying again. She ended up doing like a marble effect, which is really easy, but I wasn’t charged for designs. This was no big deal since the main thing I was paying for was the shellac gel manicure which lasts up to a month. They had a lot of gel colors to choose from, which I really like in a salon. I picked an orange/​coral color. She did it fast and really neat. It was the owner. You can tell she really wanted to make a good impression and wanted to make everything perfect. She was very nice and is a very had worker. But, its been one week since my manicure and the gel is peeling off! I’ve never had such a cheap shellac gel manicure in my life. At any other salon it has lasted for a month at LEAST. After I got out of the shower today they were really just chipping off. It’s just really cheap stuff they used, which is something you really have to be careful about at nail salons. When I left the salon that day I planned on going back, it was a good experience. But, I cannot trust that I’m going to actually get quality product from them. I’ll continue my search for a shellac manicure salon. (The salon I used to go to closed.)
