I signed my daughter up for their summer art camp. It was one week long(just an hour a day) and $ 85. I thought that was really pricey for just an hour per day for 5 days, but since it was an academy it must be great teaching and worth the extra expense. My daughter has a great desire to learn the techniques of drawing and painting so we splurged on the camp. The first day they did finger prints on paper and drew them into animals(she was in the age appropriate class of 10 years and older). She was so disappointed and again, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and told her that just must be the introduction to see where their skills are. Sadly it never got better and they spent much of their time making back drops for the drama class that was also having a class. I did not pay that much money for my daughter to paint backdrops for another camp, especially since it was not in the description. She learned NOTHING. This was an incredible waste of money for us and if you are serious about art, I would steer clear.
