It’s clear that the ownership and executive chef are committed to a comfortable dining experience and exquisite meal. A Morton gem; we’ll be back!
Ahi Tuna, Kemp 208 salad, bruschetta, and shrimp were all well prepared, flavorful. Skillet cookie, flourless chocolate cake, and crème brûlée were decadent.

Have had two great experiences — a great (and affordable) Beer Burger for lunch with soup, and a pasta dish with steak for dinner. Great food quality and the staff make you feel like you’re a friend no matter what. Highly recommended for a quick lunch or relaxing evening out!

I have been to Kemp208 twice and had great experiences. The food (butternut squash soup, flatbread and pork tenderloin) was fantastic and our servers both times were full of recommendations. One thing I really appreciated though was how welcome the owner made my table feel. I had a friend who dropped by for coffee and she had her one year old baby along. I think if I had been dining in the Heights I would have received some serious side eye, but Kathy came over and chatted with us — I was afraid given how nice/​upscale the place is that she would be annoyed but she was perfectly lovely. Can’t wait for warmer weather to get back on the patio!

Kemp 208 is a wonderful addition to Morton, and one of the new leaders in the Peoria area food scene in general! Cuisine focuses on fresh ingredients, creating crafted dishes while maintaining a casual «fine dining» atmosphere. Service is on point with a wine list priced quite reasonably with selections that aren’t the usual suspects. Bonus: They cellar their wine and it’s actually served at proper temperature– this may be the only place in Peoria that does this.
Don’t hesitate to make the drive and check this place out!
