Had a vanilla/chocolate twist on a small cone. Lots of ice cream. Believe this was soft ice cream, tho the sign reads Custard. Didn’t matter. Yummy at the end of September. Crowded place. Edge of Chesterfield.

This ice cream is pretty good. I just take issue with a few things… 1. They obviously use factory farm eggs, because chocolate was in short supply of account of the shortage. 2. They don’t disclose the ingredients list. 3. They often shut the line down outside 10 minutes early because they don’t want to stay ten minutes later for clean up. Overall, there are options that are just as good around and that have better customer service, IMO.

Ordered a cone with Sprinkles. Paid for sprinkles. Waited. The woman handed me a cone with no sprinkles. I said to woman I ordered sprinkles? The old guy owner says you should of thought of that before you took cone… Too late? Overrated. Ice cream is ice cream. Oh sorry custard. Place is filthy with sticky tables, bees and exhaust. Went to McDonald’s for a .49 cent cone. Just as good.

Good people, great frozen custard and shakes, banana splits are wonderful. If you’re traveling down Hull Street Rd., you really should stop and enjoy a cone.

To be honest, I could not taste much difference between ice cream and his custard. It is not custard like I grew up with. Having said that, it is a great location for us, the owner is super nice and funny and it tastes great. I absolutely support small local businesses like this over any chain.

First timer last night… we got twist cones which were very good and generous in size . We sat at a picnic table with a couple who were eating a banana split and it really looked good. Good ice cream check Nice people check Will we go again… definitely

The best frozen custard in all of Virginia! Absolutely worth the trip, no matter how far away you are :-)
