Delicious. Lobster Mac n Cheese is very very good. The pear salad is pretty good as well. Beautiful location right on the lake. Scenery, service and food have been great each time.

I’m really not sure how everyone keeps saying«this is the best restaurant in Moses Lake.» I’ve only been here once so maybe that’s not enough for a good judgement call. I ordered the Mahi Mahi special. Both the fish and the risotto were overcooked but still edible. I also ordered a side salad with a mango vinaigrette dressing which was wonderful. I sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and friendly, however, I waited about an hour for my food to come out after ordering. Overall, I left with a full stomach and mostly satisfied.

Didn’t expect much from Moses Lake, but we were pretty happy with our experience here. I recommend sitting outside, overlooking the lake … It adds a little something special. Biggest complaint was rubbery calamari(so skip it). Service was good, prompt. Entrees were portioned well and tasted good. If you get the donuts for dessert, skip the chocolate sauce. Raspberry and lemon options are tasty, but the chocolate tasted super bitter.

Service was great(Kyle). Gorgeous view. Came for lunch and would come back again. Lobster fettuccine & steak was the table favorite. Not cheap but still real good.

Great little place in Moses Lake! Had the Sushi and Street tacos and they were delicious. Parking is easy and we walked in on a Saturday night with no reservations. Will def be back

How can you not like a place that has a nice lake view and half price dishes well-prepared? Wild mushroom ravioli was very good. The husband wiped up the sauce! The fried calamari was beautifully done but needed SALT! I can count on one hand the times in a year that I salt food. I salted copiously. We then ordered a trio of beef burger sliders. Nice. Then to combat my food guilt, we ordered fresh sautéed vegetables. They were served nicely, crisply done. Service was friendly, professional, efficient.

The inside design is nice and comfortable with patio seating available and a nice lakeside location. Lots of menu item options but unfortunately we were not impressed with what was served. We ordered two appetizers the cheese sticks and the lettuce wraps. Cheese sticks were great and made in house. The lettuce wraps we just ok. My beef stir fry was also just ok and my daughters orange chicken was awful. I think this restaurant would make a great steak, burger but the other«fusion» items don’t come close to being as good as the restaurants that specialize in cooking them daily. Service was good but nothing was asked about why so much food was left on the plate. I would stop in here to enjoy a beer and a snack but might not come back hoping for a nice dinner.

Great atmosphere, awesome patio seating right on the lake, and the food was great too! Our waitress was extremely friendly and had great drink/wine suggestions and food recommendations. Here from Seattle and wish we had more places like this at home! Prices were extremely reasonable(compared to Seattle) for the quality and atmosphere! Will be returning!

Pleasant and protected outside deck overlooking Moses Lake. Friendly wait staff and decent mix of lunch specials. Salmon with basil pesto cream sauce on top of linguini accompanied by Pineapple strawberry sangria was very good. Too full for scrumptious dessert menu. Picnic special was a trio of ribs, prawns and chicken breast, all well prepared. The 2013 Château St Michelle Chardonnay pleased both imbibers.

I came to town for a business trip and our group decided to stop here for a Thursday night dinner. Overall atmosphere was great: clean restaurant, awesome view and good service. Unfortunately the food completely missed the mark for me. I got the blackened salmon burger with fries and there was nothing exciting about it. For a $ 14 Burger I would have expected something a little better, especially for a highly rated small town restaurant. Everyone else seemed to be okay with their food. Nothing exceptionally good, nothing exceptionally bad.

We dine here at least once a month and are never disappointed. If you’re looking to save a few bucks try getting some appetizers as the portions are pretty big. Mojitos are amaze, half priced Wine Wednesday’s, half priced apps during happy hour. Patio is where it’s at for lakefront sitting, day or night. BUSY in the summertime but they will do their best to get you out there.

We enjoyed our meals tonight. We had drinks, salads, soup, and chicken parmesan and halibut parmesan. The staff was great. The cool thing of the evening, as the sun was going down… the host remotely lowered the blinds.

Great food, fun atmosphere! I worked here for 5 years and it’s still the only place I eat when I’m back in town. Mile high mud pie is classic.

Mostly pros, but some cons. I have lived in Moses Lake for about 8 years. My husband and I have been eating at Michael’s on the Lake regularly, about once or twice, sometimes even three times a month, for about the past 3 years. So, obviously we like eating there. But, it doesn’t seem like anyone ever remembers us, or maybe they just don’t acknowledge it… except Terah!(Not sure if that’s how to spell her name) But she is just wonderful! Always smiling, greets us by name, just great service overall from her. The other servers could take some advice from Terah. Not that the rest of the servers aren’t good, but we have had some issues a few times where we decided that the server did not deserve a tip, but we always give one anyway just because we feel bad. But seriously, Terah just surpasses them all! The atmosphere and décor is nice but could use a little improvement. We were there just a couple days ago and when my husband stood up from his seat, he hit his head on some kind of giant candle holder looking thing that was hung too low on the wall. It broke and glass got all over him and cut his finger pretty bad. A waitress who was close by offered a bandaid but he didn’t want one and we just left since we were done eating and had already paid. The manager should have done something about it, but maybe they just didn’t notice. They also have this problem at Rock Top; hanging big bulky things low on the wall to where it’s an obstruction for a person trying to sit or stand. FIXITPLEASE! I like the lake view and sitting on the patio when the weather is warmer. Sometimes the lighting is too low inside. I almost couldn’t see my food while sitting in the sun room at about 4:00 a couple weeks ago on a sunday. It is also usually pretty cold in there to where I keep my coat on while eating. Sometimes I call in to order for pick-up and there have been a few times when something was left out, but I don’t notice until I get home and open it. The last time this happened, maybe a month or two ago, the girl on the phone was very rude(i should’ve asked her name) and she told me that a manager would call me back, but that never happened. She probably didn’t even report it. The quality of the food should be the same when you take-out as when you dine-in and include all the same components of the dish. All cons aside, the food is great, not amazing, but great, and the people are mostly friendly. I couldn’t tell you about the bar since we don’t drink. We’ve only ever had to send a dish back once that was too salty; it was shepherd’s pie. The prices are very reasonable. Most people in Moses Lake think it’s expensive, but they just are not that knowlegable about food and restaurants. They also probably think that Sharis is expensive. My husband usually always gets the prime rib, which is available EVERYDAY of the week, mind you. It’s currently 25 dollars here if I remember correctly. In a bigger city, the same exact dish would be upwards of 40 to 60 dollars. We went to Coeur d’Alene a few months ago and ate at The Cedars floating restaurant. My husband got the prime rib there and it was about 35 dollars. He said it was as good as Michael’s. One of my favorites is the lobster ravioli; it almost… almost gives me a foodgasm in my mouth… but i still have yet to experience such a thing. For a quick lunch, I love the Cuban pork sandwich. Most of the appetizers are really great too. And I LOVE the salmon. They also make a salmon shrimp ceviche which is pleasantly different. My husband likes to stick with his prime rib, but I like to try different things and I haven’t been disappointed… actually one time the calamari disappointed me. It was dry and flavorless. Luckily it had a good sauce to dip in. For dessert, the homemade chocolate banana bread pudding is to die for!!! It is a must-try and very shareable! All in all, I give Michael’s on the Lake 4 out of 5 stars because it’s great, but could still use some improvement. Even with the addition of other restaurants in the area, such as Simmer, I still say that Michael’s on the Lake is the best restaurant in Grant County, or at least Moses Lake. I haven’t tried the Moses Pointe restaurant yet, or Pillar Rock Grill, which I’m told are good. So after I try those, I’ll update my review. ;)

Checked Unilocal on our way from Seattle to Spokane. Several of the fast food places had poor reviews and, since Michael’s had good reviews we thought we’d try it. We were not disappointed! Nice exterior/interior with a peaceful view of Lake Moses. Our server, Brittany, waa very helpful, pleasant, & stopped by often to check on us. My wife enjoyed her Shrimp Caprese(although there were only 3 shrimp) & my Cobb Salad tasted great. Fresh bread accompanied our meal. We would highly recommend this location.

Probably the fanciest restaurant in Moses Lake. The dining area is clean and has a modern touch to it. The menu is all over the place from seafood to Chinese items with a gold touch of American thrown in there. Had the mushroom ravioli as a starter and it was very yummy and would order it as a main dish any day. The starter bread was a cracked whole wheat that was fresh and home made. The seafood and chicken was cooked for perfection and was quite flavorful. Would eat here again for sure

We were driving from Seattle to Spokane and stopped in Moses Lake for dinner– what a find! Our server, Tara, was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable about the wines. We both had entrée salads– I had the tostada salad, and hubby had blackened salmon caesar. Both were truly delicious! We also loved our wines and warm bread. We shared the warm chocolate banana bread pudding with whiskey sauce, and it was heavenly. The dining room was very nice and cool on a hot evening, but the deck overlooking the lake looked very appealing and was fairly full. If you’re in this neck of the woods, don’t miss Michael’s on the Lake.

Who would have thought that such tastes, flavors and sights would be experienced in the middle of Washington State at Moses Lake?! This was recommended by a local and I’m so glad to have found it. I’m sad that it’s so far away and crave their food. Everything that I had from beginning to end was delightful — the appetizers, the entrees and the dessert. A fun and super tasty dish is the«Sushi Tacos». Great name and out of this world. TRYIT!!! Let’s break it down: –We were sat promptly even during a busy weekend at dinner –Spacious layout with cute décor and outdoor seating too. –Presentation was very classy and artistic –Fresh ingredients including the seafood!(I know, right?!) –Flavors were none that I’ve experienced before. Great combinations –Meat cook time was perfect. My chicken was great & the tuna was perfectly seared. –The waiter was very well-informed and personable. –The host was friendly and even made sure to ask us about our meal –THEVIEW — need I say more???
