Fabulous restaurant. Food is very fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Even the water is amazing!

I visited Simmer with my wife and in-laws for a weekend excursion and was supremely delighted. We tried three appetizers: The fried meatballs, lamb poutine, and the fried pork belly. They were all great but the meatballs were very standout. They had a crunchy crust and a hot juicy inside with a delicious hot ketchup echoing a top notch meat loaf. The entrees were great as well. All of our meat was cooked perfectly. I ordered the ravioli stuffed with ricotta and mushrooms with lamb on a bed of peas and au jus. Everything had a tasty house made appeal. The only critique I have is that the au jus needed some salt. Overall a great atmosphere and experience !

Not impressed. The food is mediocre and the service slow. My Tri-Tip sandwich was cold and I sent it back. I received a fresh sandwich with the previous plate of fries which by then were cool. I Our table was barely visited by the waitstaff and although I saw what appeared to be management or owners busy visiting other tables they didn’t come by our table. My dinner companions agree that when we return to Moses Lake unfortunately we will not return to Simmer. #Mediocre food#poor service#high prices.

Simmer is amazing! We needed a spot like this in town. This is a perfect spot for a nice romantic dinner date with a cozy atmosphere. My all time favorite dish-hands down, no question about it is the duck. It is perfectly seasoned and matches well with the kale on the side. It is something worth trying whether you’ve had duck or not. it’s delicious!

This is what I’ve been looking for in Moses. Great staff, nice clean/modern dining and amazing food! We went here for Sunday brunch with high expectations and were completely blown away. This is our new go to for dining.

Finally! A restaurant in Moses Lake with creative and delicious food. The menu was enticing and was the main draw. Being from Portland, we’re accustomed to unique dishes with a little bit of flair. This place was the closest to a «foody» type restaurant that we’ve seen since moving here. The décor was not cookie cutter, the menu wasn’t laminated(which is nice because you know it changes and is clean), and the food was amazing. We went for the Sunday brunch and were not disappointed. We booked a spot for Valentine’s Day and are excited to return. The simmer burger was a great choice for me. TL;DR great food, awesome staff, cool place. Will DEFINITELY be back.

The meatballs are killers. Never had meatballs like this. Forget the Spagetti! Man up and eat them by themselves.

Fine dinning with a home feel. The food is amazing and the Chef takes great care in preparing flavor and presentation into a great dining experience. The beers and drinks add the right flavor to the mix. Try the Fish house punch excellent drink. A overall great place if your driving through to Seattle its a must stop destination.

This was DELICIOUS I’m so glad we finally got to eat here. we started off with apple belinis which were fabulous. The brunch menu was fun but I opted with the special biscuits and gravy. Very tasty and fresh. It’s a heavy dish so I wasn’t able to eat it all. It cane with fried potatoe. My friend had the pork belly sweet potatoes AMAZING. Probably the best meal in Moses Lake! We also had the pulled pork at the table. They brought is 4 dipping sauces the feta ranch is by far the yummiest and the sweet potatoes were drizzled in a spicy honey. Having managed a couple bars I have to give props to the bartender he is FANTASTIC and knows exactly what he’s doing! I asked for simple syrup he had like 10 different ones. LOL the owner Yvonne is a very down to earth friendly person and their chef even came out and talked to us! This place is definitely a gem!

Pleasantly surprised to find this little gem in Moses Lake! I’m not typically a risotto person but I ordered it on a whim because it was a freezing cold night. It turned out to be the best decision I made all year! Perfectly al dente with local butternut squash and crispy kale chips on top, which definitely made the dish special. They have a very impressive cocktail selection as well so, as Arnold says, «I’ll be back!»

This is one of the best places I have ever been! We spent 70 on a dinner for 2. The food and services was as good or better than the most upscale restraints on the west cost.

Staff was friendly but only half attentive… I ordered Mac and cheese with bacon, it was definitely nothing to write home about, the wine was good though. I would probably not be back soon.

A pleasant surprise for Moses Lake. We went for brunch and plan to come back for dinner. The pork belly with sweet potato hash was fantastic! A perfect combination of sweet and savory. Service was a little on the slow side. But worth the wait.

We were quite disappointed — service was terrible — food was mediocre especially for the price tag, the portions were small & quite salty. The server was quite attending to one table & made us feel like we weren’t wanted. We had to ask for additional silverware because even though she served the bread, she didn’t bring the silverware. The owner or chef spent quite a time at one large table making sure their food was all good. We were out of town & I had out of country visitors & the brisket we ordered for one of them had an extremely sour slaw that the server saw his face & picking out & looked at him like what’s wrong with him — she didn’t even ask us or him if we liked our food. She didn’t ask if we wanted more to drink. Overall it was not a nice experience for our last night in Moses Lake. Next time we are in Moses Lake, we are definitely NOT going back.

Enjoyed the Cesar and soup for lunch several months ago and returned this week for the same and was very disappointed. I will try it again because this town needs more places like this. Service was great.

Yummy, locally grown and fresh! We’ll definitely be going back. I had the wood fire pork chop with apple mashed potatoes and kale salad, pork chop was juicy and tasty and I loved the feta ranch. Nice atmosphere and good beer. The owner even came out to say hello and offered us a sample of the chicken lollipops! The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because of service, while our server was prompt she wasn’t very friendly… Highly recommended!

These guys really care about the quality of the food and dining experience they provide. With an emphasis on local and organic produce and meet, attention given by the chefs, and good ambiance I think Simmer takes the top spot for places to dine in Moses Lake. The wait staff has really improved since I was last in(the first week they opened). Simmer just got their liquor license, too. Serving wine, beer, and spirits. Selection was a little limited on drinks overall but they had just gotten their license that day. I’m really looking forward to watching the menu change seasonally.

I know that Simmer recently opened but I am surprised that I am the first to leave a Unilocal review for them. Simmer offers a new and refreshing option for dining in Moses Lake. Dominated for years by the same usual suspects of restaurants, food in Moses Lake has always been boring, not flavorful, and disappointing. Simmer is actually trying to change that. The food is all locally procured from farmers and ranchers in the area. The salads are fresh and light, with homemade dressings and vinaigrettes, local cheeses and roasted beets. The menu offers a wide variety of main entrees — everything from steak, pork chops, risottos and brick chicken. I had the pork chop, which was nicely seasoned and cooked in their wood fire oven. Delicious. The portion sizes are big(too big, in my opinion) and our whole party left full and satisfied. The cons are that Simmer is still waiting for their liquor license, so keep that in mind before expecting to order a drink before dinner. The chef/owner said they are suppose to hear ‘any day now’ about their license. The other con is that the wait staff needs a bit of training — there were a couple of mishaps and forgetfulness that could be improved. Overall, I give Simmer 4 stars for food and ambiance. If you want good food in Moses Lake, I definitely encourage you to try Simmer.
