My daughter is back in gymnastics. She used to attend a few years ago and is back, hopefully, for the long haul. She wasn’t so serious about it, so I pulled her. Now she thinks she is a gold medal gymnast so she’s back in classes. The teachers and Cathy, front desk staff, are wonderful. My daughter has so much fun every week and practices all day at home. She can’t wait to move up a level and the highlight of her week, is being able to watch the ‘team’ girls practice. Come on out to the Moss Beach location for fun and learning!

Threw my 4 year old’s birthday party here and everything was fabulous. The girls that led the activities really connected with all the kids(various ages 2 – 10) and were very enthusiastic. They asked me questions about the ages of the kids that were attending and hammered out the best activities for our group, they even tried to incorporate the army/boot-camp theme for my son. There was a main gym and then another side room which they had a Christmas theme jumpy house setup. They cleaned up very nicely and help setup. The price was very reasonable and perfect amount of time for the party. We got the pizza which as really good not just cardboard dominos pizza. We opted to bring our own snacks, drinks and cupcakes. We were in and out in 2 hours with 10 tired kids. We had a late time ~4:45 pm and it was perfect, both my toddlers fell asleep that night easily. There is nothing I could have wanted more for my son’s birthday. he keeps asking if he can have his party there next year. Only gave 4 stars since I have no knowledge of their gym classes however I’m sure they are great. I plan to get both of my kids in their classes and will update my review with 5 stars.

My 7&5 year old girls have been going to gymtown for almost 2 years now. They love it. Staff is super nice. One of my kids favorite things is Kids Night Out which happens about once a month. You drop off kids at 6 and pick up at 10pm. They get pizza and a popsicle, do activities and to end the night they dance around in the dark with glow sticks. Lots of fun and we get to go to dinner without the kids for a change. Love it!

My two year old(almost three) has been going to Gymtowne for about a year now. I can’t speak for the upper level classes because I have not been involved in them, but the class for the Bug Rugs(2 – 3) is an excellent introduction to a sudo classroom. In the beginning of the class, the kids run around until most people are there and then there is a warm up time for about 5 minutes(stretching, jumping, stomping) and a single lesson such as somersault or a jump off a small trampoline or logroll etc. It’s not required that you stay with the class — you can continue to let your kid do his or her own thing, which is what I did for the first six months. My boy is very active and when he was just two he couldn’t sit still for very long. Now at almost 3, he does this part of the class. After the warm up, kids have free reign over the gym area. Activities include a bouncy castle, two large trampolines(with teachers to help) mini basketball area, running trampoline, and a climbing area, which changes weekly as they set it up different ways. At the end of the class everyone gets back into a classroom like setting and we get out the parachute. everyone grabs part of it and the kids get in it and we sing songs and pull it around — kids LOVE this part. Then they get underneath and we lift it up and down on them. At the end of the class, each student sits on a «star» and waits for a stamp. My kid LOVES coming here. On Friday mornings, when we go to this class(this particular class is, I think, 4 days a week at 9 am) he runs around the house yelling«Gymetowne!!!» over and over.
