Very cute little shop, some great vintage/​antique furniture pieces and lots of good nicknacks. Everything was reasonably priced! My husband’s favorite part about the shop was the shop owner’s adorable dog Zoey. We look forward to stopping here again on our next trip to the Monterey area.

We were looking for a student desk for my daughters room. They have a lot of antiques in there so we wanted to stay with that theme.
I started looking around and found cottage by the sea. I was excited to find a place on this side of 17 and they had quite a few desks all at reasonable prices.
We called ahead and placed one they had online on hold. My daughter loved it at first sight. They had a great sale of 25% off everything in store and all the furniture I came across was sturdy and in good condition. We will absolutely be back when we are shopping for more stuff for the house! I recommend this local diamond for furniture and décor!

cute little shop… little antique and a little beachy. there were a handful of cute beachy items here i could have taken home but was good and only bought a starfish plate for my nightstand. the owner has the cutest little white dog… gets excited and jumps up to be loved but doesn’t bark! wanted to take the little guy home… but he wasnt for sale. lol
