Unfortunately the company went into decline starting around 2010 and now they are gone entirely. Ten or so years ago they were wonderful. I never imagined when I bought their initial stock offering it would now be worthless

I have ordered many things from them for years. Here’s the thing about them: their intent is very high; they support local farmers, small farmers, small companies trying to make a difference and to do things right. I have learned about many small organic businesses from them and continue to buy those products, sometimes directly from those companies. What Diamond Organics is trying to do is probably pretty challenging — get fresh, pure, organic, local food including seasonal fruits and vegetables and homemade dishes and baked goods, to people anywhere quickly. It is such a nice idea. It is the only place I have found organic roast turkey breast year-round, and usually they have grass-fed organic beef. I agree that service can be iffy. I have been confused about their charges, and have emailed, etc. without a response. I have asked for refunds and did not get them. most of their order-takers are very nice and laid-back, but I do get the feeling they are not particulary focussed on the highest customer service. They do offer to call you if something you ordered is not in stock. Shippings costs are unbelievable high(Fed Ex), but that is because they are OVERNIGHTING fresh or perishable foods to you, often on dry ice in styrofoam boxes — an extra cost. I think the biggest problem is with their checking the order before it goes out — sometimes items are missing, not always the freshest, etc. I have gotten to assume if the order is at least 90% right and approximately the cost they quote, that’s all I can expect. BUT — where else can you get homemade all organic buffalo chili and Kathleen’s Kitchen organic spelt sweet potato biscuits and unusual things like organic baby artichokes in season and organic grass-fed meats and organic pure soaps. If you place an order, try to get a definite total cost, confirm that everything you ordered is in stock and will be in the shipment, and thank them for what they are trying to do. Advice to Diamond Organics: can you get better quality control and check freshness, completeness, and charges before boxes are shipped out, have someone in customer service be responsive to customer concerns, and have order-takers trained to be a little more customer-service oriented. But I really appreciate what you are trying to do and how many things I have received from you that are just great.

If you live somewhere like Oklahoma where organic is considered an insult, this company is one of the only ways you can get healthy food for your kids. It costs a lot to ship but the food is very reasonably priced and the produce is 95% of the time unbelievably great. It arrives quickly. It has made our special occasions(Thanksgiving etc) since 2006. I am worried as they are not accepting online orders right now and I hope they stay in business.

I’ve used Diamond Organics in the past and been happy with the service and products. The last experience I had with them was just plain bad business. From double charging me on a gift basket to late delivery and charging over 50% of the cost of the gift to send it out. I have been in contact with the General Manager thru emails and phone with no apology from their end at all. I will never use this business again and do not recommend it to anyone else either.

I ordered five items, hard to get here in Roanoke, Virginia. They substituted three of five with cheaper, easy to get items, shipped them without getting my approval, and did not adjust the invoice. I tried to call customer service and held for 25 minutes before giving up, not getting anybody on the phone. They used to be much better and were once a reasonably reliable source of high quality produce. I would recommend avoiding them at all costs, until they change their business philosophy.

Mail order is program is terrible! They charged $ 97 to deliver a sampler of 16 oranges and grapefuits to my mother’s home 50 miles away from their Moss Landing location. Quality was same as Trader Joes or whole foods. Web site is not clear the $ 82 + shipping is charge for each month. Misleading labeing says«3 – 5 month organic sampler» They did cancel my order for any future months. I told her the cost was at least 10 fold of whole foods. Customer service response: «well that’s our program». Avoid!

I ordered from here about a month ago and was disappointed. First of all, their website needed to be updated because they no longer offered free shipping on their sampler package. I didn’t like the customer service. I had an outbreak of food poisoning the day after I ate the salad pack from this place. I was calling to ask whether or not anyone else has called to mention a case of food poisoning. Rather than understanding, it seemed like the lady jumped to conclusions and said there was never any problems with their food. It seemed like she was in a sticky situation so she had me transferred to their boss where I could leave a message. I wasn’t surprised that no one ever called me back. I would have appreciated some type of response. I wouldn’t call their fruits and vegetables to die for and for the price it would be a better bet to go to a local farmer’s market or some other organic supplier.

Awful company, after receiving overpriced fancy wrapping not very good products it was a nightmare to return them for another more suitable exchange. What a wast of my time. I’ll recommend to build your own gift basket for a fraction of the price of what those people charge using the same products from your local high end grocery story and avoid the hassle of dealing with them after.
