Not your typical sushi, but fresh and delicious nonetheless! I ordered the snow maki, spicy tuna, and Caresia roll. The Caresia was the most unorthodox(almonds, cuke, cream cheese, and spicy tuna), but it turned out to be my favorite! The Mai Tai I ordered was extra strong. Key lime pie for dessert was also delicious. Service was very good. The only suggestion would be to request they go lighter on the sauces.

A bit off the beaten path but worth it… We were driving by on our way to Mt. Washington and stopped here on whim. We are glad we did. It is an odd yet wonderful combination of locovore/Asian Fusion. The maki rolls are nothing like you’d expect to find in a traditional sushi restaurant. They use unusual ingredients such as ground almonds and bacon but they make it work. I’m usually a snob about traditional sushi, so this is high praise. We also tried one of the Thai dishes which was also very nice. They have a decent wine/sake/cocktail menu. Totally worth trying!

I really love the food here… The Crying Tiger Beef is very, very good. Generous amount of beef, but there was not quite enough rice. The spicy tuna roll was fabulous! The tuna was so fresh!

The last thing I expected to find in the middle of New Hampshire in the dead of winter was an excellent Thai/sushi restaurant, but that’s what you’ll find at Lemon Grass. The décor is an odd mix of cultures, call it Lodge Asian for lack of a better explanation, but the food shines here, freshly repaired by the innovative chef owner, a slight friendly Thai woman who obviously cares about what she puts on the plates. We started with a couple of rolls off the specials menu, including a lightly fried roll dipped in Tempura batter and a spicy tuna, both excellent, and followed it up with a delicious Chicken Kapow, stir fried minced chicken and vegetables, in a chili garlic basil sauce. Be aware that they close for things like the Super Bowl, and are closed this year during most of March, so check their website before venturing out.

The food here is consistently good. Large vegetarian and seafood menu. Creative rolls. Be aware however I often ask for no sauce as they tend to be a lil heavy handed with the drizzle of aioli etc. Excellent curry dishes, seafood is always very fresh and was pleasantly surprised by the homemade desserts. Lastly we have always had friendly service which can be difficult in a mostly seasonal area. Reservations are definetly recommended.

For the region, this is a very good restaurant. The pad Thai was good(my wife thought is was awesome and I thought it was ok), and the red curry was really good. We both agrees that the Korean kimchi was excellent. The service was very friendly. Definitely going back.

Food is very good. I have been coming here for years as I have a summer home right down the street. However, the last time I was here(about a week ago) I was disappointed at the smaller portion sizes. The beet salad that I always order was significantly smaller that it usually was, and scallop dish was kinda disappointing.

So it is the Saturday night after my son’s camps parents visiting day. We had made reservations the week before as it was recommended for this place. My ex and I were planning on taking our son here(along with our daughter) but found out that he could not leave camp — even for a couple of hours. He loves sushi. We had heard great things from the parents and grandparents of other campers and yet somehow this place fell well short of our expectations. The first problem is that the place is nearly impossible to find using GPS; it is well hidden from the road and there are no signs pointing you in the right direction. It is situated behind a pizza place /seafood joint. I wish they had some better signage or some other kind of device letting strangers /out-of-towners find it better or easier. The second problem was, for me, that the place is not your typical sushi restaurant. Don’t get me wrong, I like sushi but I am a bit of a purist. When I go to a sushi place I want to see sushi on the menu and not much other stuff. This place mixes, melds and fuses together way too many different cultural influences, food styles and cuisine themes. The menu is all over the place. I ordered a couple of Maki rolls, a bowl of Miso Soup, and a kimchi salad. My ex ordered some kind of seafood salad and Miso Soup. My daughter ordered a California roll, Miso Soup, sweet potato fries and a mango fried ice cream dessert. As far as beverages go, I ordered a Tsiing Tao beer(which tasted kind of skunky). The miso soup came late into the meal. Way late. Like way long after we had eaten our sushi. The waitress had some sort of rationale /explanation for this anomaly; however, I can’t remember what she said exactly. Perhaps because, to me, it did not make much sense. I will admit the miso soup was quite good. But again nothing great warranting its late appearance far into the meal. My kimchi salad was good but not great also; I have had better kimchi at places on Buford Highway in Atlanta. Of the two rolls I ordered, I liked one way better than the other. One was a «lobster roll» Maki. I think they called it a Lucky Roll; it was kind of bland and lackluster. The other roll, I think, was called an Ooh La La(or hubba hubba) Maki; it had sautéed eggplant on the inside and spicy tuna on the outside. It was just okay. I don’t mind eating food that is just okay; however, when«just okay» food is over-priced, then that is when I have a problem. With tax and tip the bill came out to just under $ 100.00 for the three of us; a bit more than I like to pay for slightly above average food. I have had way better sushi meals at RuSan’s(in Atlanta) for a lot less scratch. Maybe I am spoiled because I live in the Buford highway neighborhood(In Atlanta) and can get great sushi at many places in that area. Oh well. You live. you learn. Perhaps the place really deserves 2.5 stars but because the ambience was nice, I will go with three stars.

My first dining experience here was a good one and I would definitely go back. The food, drinks, and service were all great. It is pricey though making it a place I wouldn’t go often.
