Chimney Sweeps of Sherwood Forest

Only giving a 1 to allow me to write review. This company has been a nightmare to deal with, especially the office. Office keeps giving me the run and says manufacture no longer making needed part, auger motor, to fix my pellet stove. Office has provided much incorrect info over the past two months, that’s how long I’ve been dealing with them trying to get fixed, so I called the manufacture directly. Found the part within 5 mins and it was in stock. Will not be dealing with them in the future. My issue has been ongoing for over 2 months and pulling teeth and nails to get calls back. Each time ask to speak with manager or owner, They won’t transfer me or give me a voice mail. Have never dealt with such an unprofessional company as this one. Company is terrible, stay away! Techs who come out to service are professional, but dealing with office itself is a nightmare. Thumbs down! I would personally be embarrassed to be associated with such an unprofessional office. In reading other reviews, appears this might be a sales tactic to sell their stoves. I’ll be contacting The Better Business Bureau today!

I had a major problem with my chimney and these guys were great to deal with. They said it would take two days to cut into my chimney, clean it out, and install a new liner, and they came on time, were friendly, and did a great job. They also left the place looking clean when they left. I felt very comfortable with them and would definitely recommend them.

Where to start?
Micha was only interested in selling us the one type of pellet stove. Two months of operation, the glass door broke. It was blamed on us.
A month later the auger broke. It was out fault for not using their precise pellets.
Second burn season. The auger broke. It was our fault due to over filling the hopper. A week later the thermostat broke. We were running the stove too long. Two weeks later the thermostat broke again. The pellets we used we burning too hot.
Sold the pellet stove & went to Mace. Not had a problem at all!
